That's not all... but I've got to leave some surprises for the others. I think we've still left out the "detailed, but pretty big" UI update, and the one that "everyone will like" per Yoshida in the recent Letter from the Producer LIVE.

Ooooh! minion+chocobo, Jesus, they went ham on the QoL adjustments for 4.1. You can also see more debuffs on the party list, along with your bird's remaining time. I'm kind of curious about the simplified version of the PF. Overall, I like the changes and I'm looking forward to the unmentioned UI changes.

But other than that, QoL improvements are always nice. I hope we'll be able to toggle off the job gauges.

Hope the duty action button combo still works. Cos I really don't wanna have something that situational sitting on hotbars because it'll end up tucked away somewhere I can't remember when I need to press it quickly.

Finally, I can enjoy my minions and chocobo at the same time! Yay!

I'm hoping this mass UI overhaul fixes some issues brought up with the new gauge system, like party Astro cards/buffs on hold and the like.

Wow! These are all useful things I was hoping they'd eventually add. Good going!

They are also adding the option to turn the L2/R2+R3 combo on or off if you want.

Will we finally be able to lock the chat window so I don't accidentally drag tabs if I happen to hold the mouse button down a fraction of a second too long when clicking them?

4.1 is just around the corner and everything I've seen so far looks incredible and there's still plenty of information they're keeping close to the chest? My body is ready.

Now if only they would allow me to color code linkshells. It would be so much easier to follow along with different linkshell chats if they weren't all just green. Kind of hoping this is one of the changes, but not holding my breath. ^^;

You can already set custom colors for linkshells.

It is great that we will have that chat mode adjustment.

I doubt it, judging by the other features it looks like you have the option to turn off the floating button and instead have it on your hotbar if you choose

No, it's just letting us toggle the current keybind methods for both controller and keyboard players with just adding like a regular skill to out hotbars.

Sounds like it was QoL option for controller players who were accidentally activating them while moving their camera since it's defaulted on the activating it by pressing the right stick down.

Im hoping for the ability to talk to people while in dungeons, I hate having to put private conversations on hold while im in a dungeon.

Hopefully the "desynth requirements" are also included for fish.

Oh and a sort option "by desynth requirement" on the marketboard also would be grand. :)

Nice! Now I don't have to keep switching to FC chat everytime i log in.

Between these and the housing upgrades/changes, they are really going ham on QoL for the upcoming patch. It's like black friday for QoL! XD

update: I wonder what are the odds that the big surprise is glamouring/crafting directly from retainer or being able to store kupo store/promotion gear into armoire?
