How does everyone feel about the armor this time around?

Looks amazing. I've gotta get back on my ranked grind... that gear is sick.

In comparison to the Season 1 & 2 gear this doesn't look good. Yet it's a matter of taste.

Looks like a variant of the drk af3 which is a variant of the i180 pvp set. The axe looks badass tho which is what most partecipant will get sooner or later

Matter of personal taste, but as a tank main, I like that it looks heavier. The axe on the other hand... whew. That's a whole other league. Going off on a tangent, are the weapons only for top 10 or for people of a certain rank?

It looks great as far as I'm concerned. It's a shame, then, that PvP - and the Gold Saucer tournaments - are infested by win traders to the detriment of honest players.

Here's the thing...

This armor would look great on something like a tank, or a dragoon. But what about the healers? The bards? It's going to look silly if you're running around casting holy spells while looking like Guts from Berzerk.

Do I personally like it? Hell yeah. But I also love Berzerk. I'm also really hoping that the weapons have SOME sort of glow to make them stand out.

The thing about the Season 1/2 armor is that it fit well for any and every job. I think they should have tried to stick with a similar theme. The sort of "Gladiator Champion" look, with a different model of crown for each season.

I personally don't like it as much as S1 armor. It's just Behemoth armor with more bells and whistles. I have no comment for the weapon since I'd have to see the katana. But the theme they're going for looks like Niddhogg a bit.

In other words, it's a bit tanky for my style.

Or the Overlrod from the Overlord games, where are his minions then though.

Weapon is top 10 guaranteed and everyone else gets an amount of tickets to build towards it based on your tier like silver gold etc

I actually like that. I hate that Its locked behind a ranking. I've never even tried a ranked match before so I'll probably never get it.

I think S1/S2 looks better, having a more luxurious feel to it. I think this one was meant to be imposing, but the look of it isn't very appealing to me. Still trying to end up in the top 100 though!

That helmet looks a lot like the Diabolic fending one. The weapon looks awesome though. I hope they show more of them.

I like the armor in the picture but I would like to see it in game with lighting and such :3

I'm not going to guarantee it for you, but the S1/2 armor was dyeable, so it's highly likely this will be as well. Generally speaking most pvp armor is dyeable.

There's also the possibility the weapons will be able to be dyed as well, since we have had that happen as well. Though that's less likely.

Looks like Guts berserker armor from Berserk, Not bad.
