Also getting this error.
Me too. Anybody know what's going on?
Im getting the same error, playing on ps4 pro.
Been getting this error too.
Updated the game today and my pc crashed.
After restart, the game looks like it got resetted and asked me if I hav SE account, as if its my first time running it.
But after entering everything, it gave me this error.
Per advice on reddit, tried network settings and restarting ps4. Didn't help, really don't wanna have to redownload game, took forever when accidentally uninstalled a few weeks ago.
I also tried messing around FFXIV_BOOT.cfg on PC, and switching BootVersionCheckMode and B4EulaAgreement to 1, as well as trying using my phone's 4G hotspot.
Nothing work so far.
I fixed this. I used an other internet connection for update the loader, than i back to my main ISP and updated the game client now im online.
I'm having the same problem and had to reset my password because it said that there was suspicious activity. error code [30410][30607][20457][404], would not bring up anything.
Now it's saying that there is a launcher error and/or it cannot check my version.
Pls Help!
Changed to hotspot from phone and updating launcher now.
What do they mean by this?
"I fixed this. I used an other internet connection for update the loader, than i back to my main ISP and updated the game client now im online."
I even tried logging on through steam on my husband's steam account and it didn't work.
Same problem here i can't update and i reset my isp several times
Can you check you updates before actually doing it? We are going to start having issues every small patch?, first the eternal update and then this thing:

This never happen before with HW , so clearly some one is not doing their job.
Gives us a fix and answer soon.
Good Day.
Use a different internet connection.
I just got hit with this when logging in just now, and I tried the earlier tricks of backing up your game folder, then re-installing the client, then changing the game folder back, but it didn't work.
Then I tried opening the ffxivgame.ver file in the {install}/game folder, where it had "2017.08.23.0000.0000" as the value. I changed it to something slightly lower, "2017.08.22.0000.0000", then restarted the boot client and logged in. It downloaded the old 10 MB patch again from last week, and when it launched the game, it finally let me in.
Hopefully this works for anyone else.
