Well, pretty nice.
This is awesome time to buy some stuff. I wanted a few dresses for my character and some emotes.
I'm not suprised, but a little disappointed the sale doesn't extend to upgrading to the deluxe editions.
Is this why the servers crashed earlier, including the forums?
The 30% sale went up a few min after the servers came back online.
Now if they'd just remove the other 70%, I might be interested...
Great time to buy some mounts I want, some clothes, my birthday is midway through the sale, will definitely treat myself :D
Are we really 10 million?!?! :o
Meh, nothing really intresting imo. Old event items we all most likely have already
They should hold these type of sales more often, I reckon alot of people would be more willing to buy stuff if they got 30% off.
Any chance of getting 30% off the game as well please? :p
Still too expensive with the character lock.
Moogle mount for a affordable price. Woo!
Does anyone have a time machine I can borrow so I can go back two days and tell myself to wait on those fantasias?
I think the 10 million includes free trails but it means they have also sold lot of copies of the game as well.
I hear that FF14 has around 500k to 1 million sub these days and even the lowest estimates will make it the second biggest sub MMO out there and that is a big achievement.
TFW purchased outfit yesterday, oh well.. :p
I have wanted that 2 seated mount for sometime but certainly was not going to pay over $30 for it..
Glad to see it is finally on sale
What would be great, especially when there is sale in the Mogstation is to allow more than one thing in your cart. My bank rejects more than one payment from a store if I use it again right away. I also don't want many $5 payments, but the one lump sum. I would of thought they would of fixed that by now.
AAHAHAHAHA!
I had 40 euros in my steam wallet and now I put them to good use! Got the Moogle mount, Aymerics attire/hairstyle, one phial of phantasia just in case, some pure white dyes and decided to spend the 10 remaining euros on 30 days of gametime.
What a well timed sale! Aw yissssss!
Crysta is definitely the best way to do the Mogstation. Especially if you fill up on it(I try to put the 10k Crysta on there whenever I need to) it usually lasts quite some time, so if something new comes out that you want you can get it.
Now...I just need to ensure I can load up on Crysta, then buy a few items(Eternal Bond comes to mind so that when I do find someone to marry in game I can do so)
Where is my Edda glamour?! :(
Square Enix enabling the Fantasia addicts.
Just thought I help people and give them something to think about:
Reason I am posting this is because I find the mog station items too much and figured they are using strategies like this to push more sales then if they didn'tQuote:
High-low pricing occurs when retailers put a relatively high “everyday price” on items, then often lower their prices via coupons and sales events to make it appear like you’re getting a screaming deal. While they’ll never admit it, they never expected you to buy the item at the original price and it’s gravy for them if you do. You’ll often see high-low pricing at retailers like JCPenney, Kohl’s, and Ann Taylor.
Time to stock up on Fantasias! I don't change often, but I doubt I'll remain a Lalafell forever.
Variety is the spice of life~
Every time they have a sale I am reminded that kupostore somehow does not have a shopping cart. Even with crysta its annoying to buy one thing at a time :I
I can't help but look at Steam which regularly has sales that are 50-90% off some games (and sometimes "Pay whatever you want for it" offers) and /meh.
Plus, in the case of Steam games, they also contend with the bandwidth costs from us downloading them (which isn't MUCH, but that cost at least exists).
In SE's case, all of these items are already in the game. You're merely paying to unlock them for your character.
I gave SE credit where it's due in charging us only $25 for a jump potion compared to WoW's $60, but this feels a bit hollow...
10 million accounts created since 2.0, or 10 million active players on average? Cause only the second number would mean anything, I should think.
