On FF1, I like the main theme of the game and Matoya's cave theme.
From FF3 I love the overworld map theme.
From FF5 it's got to be the battle under the big bridge :)
Because I feel nostalgic about FF7 I like the whole soundtrack, although I prefer a few more than others:
Boss battles, One winged angel, Jenova and Jenova Absolute themes, Bizzaro Sephiroth theme.
From FF8 I like the Man with the machinegun and Liberi fatali.
From FF10 I like the Otherworld.
From FF12 I love the Dalmaska Westernsand theme.
From FF13 I love the battle theme.
From FF14 I like the battle theme and the main theme (epic music) -

I love the FF7 soundtrack. The whole thing is like a defining moment in Nobuo Uematsu's work. The FF6 opening titles. Chilling. The whole FF8 soundtrack. FFXIII soundtrack is pretty amazing, if short. FFX - To Zanarkand, Hymn of the Fayth, a few others I don't recall. All of the music in FFXIV is breathtaking. I think it's some of Nobuo's best work to date. The music you hear upon your first entry to the Waking Sands, the Coerthas field music, and the Coerthas battle music. Also the track that plays in the Gridania opening movie when all the flowers are around Yda on the ground. <3

The theme when things start going awry in uldah's intro actually caught me off guard with how much i liked it.
besides that i'd have to say the ones that immediately pop to mind are VI and VII's battle/boss themes and a few tracks from FFT -

It was out of /joy that the spiral of sin had finally come to an end. If I remember correctly.. I only beat the game once, every other time I stop at the final boss. From SE as a whole though the entire OST from Nier is better then all of the Final Fantasy's combined when considered in their natural in game form, but are about even when done in Symphonic Concert.

Yeah, I agree. The music in FFXIV is just too fantasy and complex sounding for me. I think I'm going to change all of the FFXIV songs to FFXI songs when the servers go back up. Can you get banned for changing the music?Quote:
