Yeah, yeah, I read the ancient bit of lore about highlanders shaving their eyebrows to look menacing, but that is irrelevant. The player character doesn't exactly seem to be from anywhere. In any case, there was another excuse for it. That excuse being PS3 limitations somehow, even though Au'ri could have eyebrows and choose to lack them as well.
The PS4 can render an extra bump map and texture. Will we ever get eyebrows? I'm not even kidding. :(

To be fair though, there's a huge difference between chopping your ears off and shaving your eyebrows, it's not a genetic thing for highlanders to just be bald in the... forehead, I guess. Not just that but they lose their eyebrows for cultural/tribal reasons that don't seem to have to do anything with modern Ala Mhigo and much less the PC you know? Heck, culturally sun Miqo'te for example should have very specific names, but the player can call themselves "Big Poohead" if they want. I just want my face hairs, man.

The Lore reasons never made any sense anyway - if Highlanders are shaving their eyebrows to look fierce and scary, why do all the Highlander women still have them? Have you ever *met* a Highlander woman? They're just as violent and quick to anger as their men are.

Lore reasons also don't really make sense for a race you play as, anyway. Unless they are 100% unable to grow eyebrows, Highlander males should be given the choice to have them or not.
So yeah, give Highlanders their caterpillars. -

They should have eyebrows, but because of the current limitation, new features like beards or horns, faces can not be added. Which is very odd, because they are still able to add new hairstyles every patch.
