Lakshmi Ex's mount

Alright. Is this actually a thing? I see people riding the wolf but I've literally never seen it drop and I'm well over 60+ kills at this point. It feels like all I do is Lakshmi Ex killing. I made a vow that I'll do the savage Omega after I get this wolf and now I ... just don't know if I can go on. Even the RDMs jumping off the platform doesn't cheer me up anymore. ;=; I know I was lucky with Susano Ex. Saw the mount drop twice in 14 kills and snagged it on that 14th kill but this has got to be just really bad RNG with Lakshmi. Right? RIGHT!?

Do you think we'll be able to buy the mount with all the tears we -- er, with them little thingies she drops?

She gets you when she moves to middle. You displace aiming for the middle of the arena. She moves as you do it, throwing you off the platform instead.

Yeah it does. i lost it about 9 times over 85 kills. I'm just buying it with totems because the fight is too boring.

I've seen it drop once and only once for about 40 kills, my friend won the roll and he hasn't played in over a week. Kinda miffed.

I've done the fight 104 times and seen it only 4 times. I really want this wolf too because it is white. I honestly don't really care for Susano's atm, having only done it 8 times and seen it none yet nor weapons I need. I'm still going to try farming it every now and th hem for the chance, but luck is now in my favor. Will probably just wait til I can exchange the 99 totems. First time I'm ever having to do it too. I've done the fight so much, that I'm now getting tired of it. ;_;

I've lost it three times. The first time my roll sucked (42), but the second AND third times made me pretty livid. I lost both times both with rolls of 91.

Sounds like you're in the same boat as I am with Sophia. 70+(if not 80...not online to check how many totems I have) kills, and I've seen 4 drop. No rolls higher than 20. Or Nightmare, way more than 300 runs of Garuda/Titan/Ifrit, and finally got it a few weeks/a month before SB. Had been trying since before HW.

My favourite was in Titan EX for a WT run, had 2 other RDM in the party, one said not to use Displacement because you will fall off(tank kept Titan in center of arena the whole time). I used it just as they said that(nobody had fallen yet), and landed JUST on the edge. Sometimes it's fun to make people think you're going to fall off on purpose.

The 1st thing i ever won in Lakshmi was the mount, and I dont even want it.
The group was a "call one thing out you want, and thats the only thing you're allowed to roll greed on, unless no one wants the item that drops."
No one wanted Caster gear, and I called out Caster gear (didnt matter which, as i had none)
It was set so only greed can be rolled.

AND there was an order in which people were allowed to roll, based on the /random or w/e it is.
The PT leader called for the Mount.

Well, Caster drops, and at the end you see the mount.

The leader had the highest random, so he says he's rolling on the mount, then me being 2nd highest, get to roll on my caster gear (not that anyone called out for it.)
and I forget who is 3rd.

Well I hit Greed on the caster, pass on the other item (i think fending) and as Im about to hit pass on the mount, I noticed the leader won the greed roll on the caster piece, and got it.

I'm like, wtf...
I didnt bother asking why or anything, I just simply hit greed on the mount, and rolled higher than him, winning it.

I left the group and BListed him.

So thats how I got the mount, despite not even wanting it. (Now that I have it, Ive grown to like it a lot, and probably use it the most)

Somebody in my FC has both the Susano and Lakshmi doggos, so I can guarentee you that they do drop. Unfortunately however, it also seems that the drop rates of these mounts are lower than those of the lanners in Heavensward. Though this might potentially just be temporary until new mounts at higher Primal tiers are introduced.

As for being able to buy mounts with tokens however, are you certain that will be enabled in the next content patch? I don't think it was enabled in Heavensward until the final content patch of the expansion...

In HW they enabled them as they went. So the newest ones you couldnt buy, but the older ones eventually you could. If it isnt the 4.1 patch, itll be 4.2 at the latest for the first pair to be tradable for totems.

22 runs so far. And, I think I saw it drop once? Maybe?

I finally saw my first lakshmi whistle at 93 totems. Yeahhh... no. I'm just going to buy the dog :\

The RNG Goddess can be very mean when it comes to the drop rate of the Blisful Kamuy. It took me 106 clears to get my beautiful mount. I've just saw 6 mounts in all of those 106 clears.

i think the droprate is 5% when they release it. 10% after first increase, ~20% after final increase. I've seen about 10 dogs in 150 kills now

i've farmed lak ex WELL over 44 times, maybe seen 1-2 dogs and been outrolled on both. meanwhile, for susano, in my entire 28 clears, i've seen the dog drop 4 times and was lucky enough to nab it on my fourth. they do seem like something of a myth when you farm and farm and never see it lol but save the totems, you'll be able to buy it eventually

I've got over two stacks of 99 Bliss Totems and no mount so I feel your pain. I've only seen the mount drop 8 times from all of those fights and lost every roll. I gave up on the mounts from the EX primals for the time being. It was easier farming Ixion :/

you practically own the mount after you got 99 totems, so why bother with even more kills..lol

Have yet to see it drop also. If i would ever get it i would not bother with Susano, haha

75 clears of Lakshmi so far. Seen 3 whistles (one person who won the whistle REALLY didn't deserve it but it's whatevs, RNGesus just hated everyone else that run I guess). 30 clears of Susano, haven't seen a single whistle drop there yet. Decided to take a break from Susano because the amount of people who can't walk over to the other side when they have the purple marker, tanks who can't move Susano back and forth across the line or line up clouds properly makes me want to tear my hair out.

Does anyone know an estimate of when you'll be able to trade the tokens in for the mounts? 4.1? 4.2? 4.1 is in October or something right? Which means 4.2 would be sometime next year? That's a long time if so...
