Will we ever be able to choose who gets what from ifrit and moogle?

Instead of how it works now that we have ppl who get the same damn weapon like 4 time sin a row and the others are left in despair in their piles of dark matter?

The fact that the totems arent even a 100% drop rate is one problem...not being able to choose who gets what after killing the damn thing is just plain ridiculous.

Has this been addressed (and by this I mean giving a hint that they will fix it)?

They have said they are working on a "Rare item distribution system" Why in gods name they don't just put it in the damn loot list and let us lot/pass on the items for now is beyond me.

Ninja lots will exist but christ I'd rather someone Ninja lots me than I get Ifirit fists that I don't need and watch the pugalist beside me get ready to gougue out my eyes.

The totem is meant to be the "fix".

Should have been just like Darkhold. One drop per party at the end. Worked fine before.

It's the problem with entry requirement, if they make it so that the Lamp is temporarily taken away upon entry and only consumed when win, they can have the same drop as Darkhold, which is hassle-free. I know they want to waive the entry requirement but that causes the problem with the drop, because one need to satisfy the requirement to get the loot but not the entry.

I suggest :

1: If you have same Ifrit weapon in ur inventory then the second gear please pop to loot list.
2: Lower the Totem drop rate to 10X but one Totem for exhcange; Lower the Nut drop rate 20X but one nuts for exchange. I prefer this way than collect 10 Totem or 20 Nuts for exchange.

They need to put in a Need Greed and Pass, every MMORPG does it and it work. I don't think Ninja Loot will be a problem since the item is none trade able and cannot be sell. if someone just does it to pissed you off, well just remember their name and never party with them again. But knowing Final Fantasy game, I don't think that will happen very often.

Should just have an XI loot list, everything goes in and members deal with it than have all these stupid retarded systems that make me wonder why some of the devs even have a job. But that is asking for a working system feels like im asking for too much.

Need and greed is stupid idea
1. The timelimit is annoying, especially if things drop mid battle and its up in your face "HEY HEY HEY PICK A BUTTON IGNORE UR DYING HEY HEY"
2. everyone will just greed.... At least with XI's system that is similar but more organized and not in your face.

Were certain members of the Dev teams traumatized by evil linkshells/guilds in their gaming past and that is the reason they are punishing us through their game design today???

They said they were looking into a need or greed system, but the current server infrastructure will not allow it, so totems and kupo nut charms are a temp fix until 2.0 when the server infrastructure will be alot more optimised, it was announced after the live letter.

And I keep stockpiling dark matter! thank you se! 3 of my party members get a weapon they already have and they cant pass it around because you are god damn <insert insult of your preference here>.

There is actually a way around this, I don't want to mention another MMORPG here since it advertisement. But how the loot system is Need and Pass only. The way it work is that you can only "Need" if the weapon or Armor is your class, otherwise you have to click "Pass" this sytem work perfect because it fair to the class, and when there is an armor or weapon that does drop that no class can use everyone can press "Need" and it roll whoever highest.

If there is 2 - 3 class the same the Need is there for the roll and it is fair.

Not sure I like it. What if Im joining a pug group and they only need thm but Im looking for the pug weapon?

I think we should be able to pass items to others but it should remain private so there is no drama.

Its a pathetic mess and the new team is silly for taking this long to fix it. They should have just made 1 totem/ nutcharm = 1 weapon. That would have been about right.

I gave up.. i'm not bothering with it anymore.. this is so stupid and a complete waste of time. I'm even on the edge of not playing anymore, i'm so done with this game at this point.. really

In randoms it will suck because of ninja loots - but they're randoms for a reason. But if we're playing with friends or as a team - the preexisting loot list system is perfect.

Forget Need or Greed - just use our current normal mob loot system. :(

Atleast Need or Greed is better then what we have right now. So when they finally make changes to Moogle Loot system, it turn out we need do multiple time to trade in for Totem? We still can't get what we wanted? Ifrit have already suffer from this and they still have learn yet. I just can't believe FFXIV Loot system is still so broken after 2 years launch of this game.

I am tempted to not even keep wasting time on these fights. I have put a ton of time to put into it and I get nothing for it. "Hardcore" must mean having no life outside of the game to this group of devs.

I have played since launch, actively. I have never "taken a break" as many of my friends have, most never returned. This BS is pushing me to the edge of quitting, and now they want money for it? I honestly don't know if I can justify it.

Every win should give you an untradable totem, increase the cost of the weapons to 20-50 for all I care, just give us SOMETHING. GDI I am getting pissed off just thinking about it.
