Umm, I feel like we're missing context here? Or was that really all?
*Lays on the ground and awaits to my death from laughter*
Hahaha. Ahhh. *Wipes tear* I'm sorry but this had me dying.
There has to be more to it. xD!
Sounds like you need to group with less judgemental people. I don't think SE has any power there unless they did it right in the middle of a run. If your group has simply decided not to bring you along or talk to you anymore.. that's at their discretion.
That would depend entirely on the chat logs, which you have not provided (I am guessing this is the only way that you knew this was the reason). From the extremely limited information you have given, I guess it would be harassment?
The kick is not covered in the TOS as Eusis points out below, but the chat log entries are.

People can choose to refuse to deal with you for whatever reason they wish. So no that does not fall under those.
If they went out of their way to start telling other people to avoid you for that reason, then yes that falls under them.
yes it really happened
I...Have this odd feeling context would be required on this one.
they did it over discord so not on chat they knew it would get them banned if they did
Have you tried raiding with people who won't kick you for being a straight white male?
Though, I'm assuming they probably kicked you for a different reason and for the luls said that when you asked why.
well that is the thing they knew Delta savage was going to be available today and they decided to kick me from the static with that reason
That makes things more difficult, SE may or may not accept 3rd party harassment, I am in the mind that they wouldn't. The idea is covered by the TOS, the burden of proof is not sufficient in this particular case.
Suck it up, blacklist and move on would be how I would deal with this incident, they weren't worth your time in the first place.
well, that is the thing I wasn't judgmental about their preferences at all and I accepted them. but to kick me for being straight is wrong and messed up.
looking for one now..
Well, I hope you voted for President Trump to spite them.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Out of curiosity what gender/sexuality/race mashup were the rest of the group?
So by "being a straight white male" do you mean you were acting inappropriately on Discord? Because that would be a valid reason.
I can't see any reason why they would kick you for simply existing. It would have to be something in your behavior I'm guessing.
Block them and move along. The situation occurred on Discord and SE is not responsible for policing that.
Yet another good troll thread. We are breaking the record, if people like the OP keep it up for the whole week.
People shouldn't be kicked based on race gender or sexual orientation, however something feels out of place here. If you really did get kicked for this I'm sorry , but discrimination law doesn't really protect you on the internet with anonymous individuals. Best to let it go, warn others , and find some people who get you as a person before engaging in serious business like end game raiding. I can somewhat relate as I belonged to a free company that did something similar to a good friend of mine. Needless to say we let them go and never looked back.
Sounds sort of fishy, but assuming it's true, I would encourage the OP to roll his eyes and move on. It's frustrating, but not a setback that can't be recovered from.
Let's try not to take this thread too seriously, now. If we do, it will end up being a troll thread regardless of whether or not that was its original intention.
Not buying it. Sounds like we're missing the whole story....or it's a troll. Lot's of troll posts this week for some reason. Must be the weather.
If you're actually straight then why are you upset about not being able to play with bunch of dicks?
I know its hard to believe the OP was kicked for that reason but I've met people even dumber than the ones who kicked him, sadly people that stupid are quite common.
I believe the OP.
My question is, what did OP say in Discord to make it so obvious he is a straight white male?
I mean, if they just flat out asked "What's your race and orientation?" and then kicked you, sure, that's rude as hell--but what kind of static would even ask something like that? Were you like... trying to join a LGBT+ only static or something?
If they didn't just ask, the only way they'd know you were a straight white man is if you a) volunteered that information (and why would you feel the need to share that without it being asked in conversation?) Or b) You said something patently fedora-esque that made your continued presence undesirable in the group.
End of the day, nobody is required to put up with someone they don't want to in their self-selected group, regardless of reason. It's up to the static leader who stays in the static, and though it's obviously not best practice, they could have kicked you just for wearing a glamour they don't like. If you don't want to ever be kicked again, start your own staticfor straight white males.
How on earth would someone know you're a straight white male? Who goes into dungeons proclaiming such things? "Hi, lesbian asian lady here!" In 3+ years of playing, I can honestly say not a single person has ever bothered to share their gender, sexual preference, religion or race out of the blue in the DF. Who cares?
This is a chat log I'd love to see.... would be veeeeery interesting....
This. No normal person picks up a megaphone and announces their sexual orientation to people they barely know without having been solicited that information in the first place (and even then, what normal person would even answer such a request seriously?), especially to a freaking raid group. And if someone does, chances are they have actual problems that have nothing to do with their orientation and more to do with having a highly questionable personality in general.
I got kicked cause I wasn't a lala so they couldn't rub and kiss my belly button.
As a homosexual person, I get bullied in online games. Do I announce my sexuality? No. People hear my voice, and they get clues based on my information. There's no denying or hiding it. It's part of who I am. I honestly have no sympathy for straight males who claim to be bullied for their sexuality. It just doesn't happen. I seriously doubt anyone would actually kick you for that. It has to be something else, or not even real.
Uh no. This is a harmful notion to homosexuals. Do you just announce that you're straight? We know. Do we announce that we're gay? No. You know. People making it clear about who they are is NOT the issue. It never is. In my opinion this kind of thinking is victim blaming, and hurtful.
Higashikata already won the thread from a sympathy angle so I'm going to join the majority in saying there has to be more to the story than what has been revealed.
OP, could you have accidentally been acting in a rude way and then they lashed out with that as the reason? I had a FC member who would indulge in standard gamer banter, with homophobic comments and sexist remarks, and I kicked him from the FC with no warning because what was normal to him was unacceptable to everyone else. My group, my rules - a static isn't a workplace and they have no contract to keep playing with someone whose presence upsets them. If it really was a case of them baiting you to reveal your gender/orientation/race then kicking you, shame on them, but it seems so unlikely that there has to be more to the story than that.
This whole thread is great. Western people must have great lives indeed if this is what they have time to argue about!
It would be nice to hear what the other members of his former static have to say, I'm sure their story wouldn't be the same.
this has got to be the most boring attempt at trolling i've seen on these forums in a long time
*Sargon intensifies*
Also my White Male To Jew extension really confused me at first and was like "wait you were kicked for being Jewish?" All cleared up now though.
I actually agree, but this thread is highly questionable and it's fairly obvious that what actually happened here has had much of the context stripped away, and THAT is what I was responding to.
My bet is that this whole thing came about as a tangent during a political 'debate' between static members (and I use the term as such because you won't find an actual meaningful debate about politics within a video game community). In which case, OP should probably count his blessings that he no longer has to associate with such a group in the first place, if they're willing to kick members for such things. Unless he was an ass and the real reason he was kicked wasn't specifically because of 'straight white male' but actually 'discriminating against other members of the static'.
If this actually even happened in the first place.
Gentlemen, the context it was stripped off the op was: who kicked OP was a Mentor!
Now everything makes sense and it is a legit complain!
so let me guess you made an offhand comment about special snowflake sjw feminist homos and you cant possibly fathom how anyone could stand Those People so instead of thinking you were kicked for being a jerk the people who kicked you must just be some pc liberal leftist communists who practice the Very Real Reverse Oppression and youre here to tell us the following:
