Servers still down?

This is surprising given how often they complete their patch downtime early.

Well, it is only 2, and think it's been early only the last 2 patches?

Given that this is the start of a new raid tier, and that there are many statics out there that are competing for world first on the savage fights, Square would more than likely respect the time they said the servers would go live to make sure there's no unfair advantages to be gained. Much like how they never raised the servers early whenever new housing wards were added.

It has been early a lot of times, but not consistently. I believe one of the most recent early completed ones was 2:30. So we have anywhere between now and 3 anyway. (Yes I'm a west coaster and it's too late to add the east coast times with mine as well. ><)

They don't finish maint early when there's a new raid out.

See: 2.4, 3.05, 3.2, 3.4

So expect servers to go up at the exact time they said they would.

I guessed server open my time 12pm (Finland time) BUt, I see Driavna's post.

So when 13pm open server....

World firsts are at stake. No early open today.

As if I care about those... why care who beats some raid first? somebody's gonna do it eventually.

Not saying they should open just because world firsts don't mean a thing to me. Sheesh some people.

haha the raid community is real...

They generally open servers right on time on raid patches to give all the speed clear groups who compete for world first an even starting ground. Would be unfair to them if they made it first just cause they got lucky enough to notice servers were up earlier than the other groups.

SE actively monitors the raiding scene. They actually keep tabs on world firsts to an extent, especially since they are usually the ones to find any type of bug. Not really something you hear of nowsdays, but back when Coil first released....... it was a huge deal. Especially when SE told groups you used an exploit, you're not legitimate clearers.

Worlds first is more of a "I got on first with raid group and cleared it type of thing." Not much of we cleared it faster then other groups by starting at the same time. Real competition would be all groups start at the same time and ones clearing first would be an achievement, but with current way its more of a feel special snowflake style deal.

preach my brother preeaaach! one day they will learn.

Maybe they would like it better, when something of their interest gets released aka housing, and we're opening the server 40 minutes earlier, telling the OP if he/she complains, well we didn't care about that, because housing doesn't do anything that's somewhat relevant. There will be more houses released later eventually. This isn't a decoration/house builder game, try sims or second life.

I can tell you we would be burning 10 seconds later in hell for just having mentioned that lol.
