I'm impressed by everything but BRD and WHM. WHM is pretty underwhelming, but BRD looks like a midevil secondhand store puked all over an archer.

with whm and pld getting ff11s benediction and invincible type abilities.... those 2 sets of gear fit 1.21 perfectly. hopefully we'll be seeing last of the war tanks. wars on side or behind target have better dmg skills anyways :D storm of the path --> whirlwind, yes please!. glad / pld need circle slash back ><

I love what every job looks like, completely unique. On side note MNK from what I can see(hint hint better resolution please?) seems to have a full diaper, or is that just me?

Ahahaha. That was the best thing i've read all day. I agree totally with the brd comment. I can honestly say I won't wear it, if I even bother being trying.

As for WHM I don't know. I like it. It's cute and reminiscent of my WHM AF in XI. It's missing a red trimmed hood though. I think that would improve this.

For some reasons, the first thing that runs into my mind while watching at the Warrior is this.
Which gives me hype to be a Warrior!

They all look great, great job SE!

^^ That's the Vivi outfit I wanted from the start ^^ also the DRG outfit is sweet.

I think the Bard armor looks cool, just now with a bow, I don't really understand this job combo seems like what was left over or something. All the other's look awesome, I can't really see what the Monk armor looks like though, it's kinda hard to see.

He said the weapons at least will be a challenge, hopefully the armor is too, they could easily take the XI Empyrean route while making it more of a challenge like gathering the +2 Items was a fair bit more challenging than doing the +1 items at the time (90-99 cap made it easy and soloable.)

8 Man would be nice, but I know some people will say it should be soloable/3-4 man content for whatever reason, people want a challenge yet they want a challenge with as little people as possible.

I personally like the WHM armor most since it's very classically designed just without the hood.

I think the bard design is awesome. I never wanted to play bard in FFXI, but I definitely want to try it here as it wraps buffing and DD together in a very nifty way.

I can't help but think that the bow-harp was inspired in some way by the Hunting Horn from MH (one of my favorite weapons from that game)

need to get my ARC to 50 now @_@

Really happy that WHM doesn't have a hood on. I liked the gear itself ever since the designs were shown. I still want to see how the male MNK looks, though. They keep showing females in the armor and it looks like the kind of armor that would be radically different based on your gender.

In the concept art, the DRG visor and WHM hood looked like they were movable.

Wouldn't it be cool if when transitioning to active mode, the WHM would put the hood up and the LNC would pull down the visor?

brd look bad compared to the art and on the other hand Blm look so much better than the art.

BRD looks nice, not sure if it's cool to post it here but there is pics floating around of someone who dat-swapped it, so you can see it in game. Looks hot.

Bard: looks pretty awesome except i'm not a fan of the tights and what look like high heels.

Blackmage: Art department got it spot on with hiding the face, really love this.

Warrior: looks great for the barbarian feel, that matches a guy that runs in going berserk.

Whitemage: Fits in with whm of old, would have like to see more red triangles along the bottom of the gown but i can live with the way it is.

Dragoon: Big dark and fearsome looking best sum it up.

Monk: Oriental feel to the armour design, i'm desperate to see the model they will you on a male though.

Paladin: Looks like a tank, the sword looks better in the 2.0 mock up hoping they will be able to add a crystal look to it in the final version of 2.0

Looking forward to the new year more and more with 1.21 coming approx Feb. (2 dungeons and the new jobs) the game looks to have a bright future in my humble opinion.

That Bard is a female. If you look at the concept art from the 2.0 docs the male has shoes without the heels.

Um...why does the black mage not have the glowing eye? ; ;

We don't have the 2.0 lighting yet duhhh =P

There are a decent amount of SE bards/minstrels that go with the whole patchwork look. Doesnt really look all that bad from the front though.

Dont forget, like the Monk, thats the female version of bard clothes. While it'll be sorta similar, it wont be exactly the same.

Very pleased with the Paladin armor. Not a fan of the sword at all, but I'm in no way being forced to use it....yet. I'll cry tears of pain if it's the excalibur model though.

It might be. Either that or possibly save the queen or lightbringer. Yoshida's weapon designs have always looked like that in 3D since XII though, so I wouldnt be too bummed.

Does anybody think that the Warrior Armor remind them of Skyrim?
