Abolition of accessories slot cost?

I read somewhere, that or i'm going mad, that the slot cost was going to be removed in 1.20. I never understood this in the first place.

I thought 1.20 was going to allow us to wear 4 rings, 2 bracelets, a necklace and earrings all at once? Is this just postponed or not happening?

It's still happening, at 1.21 I believe.

...or whenever they introduce the goldsmithing recipe updates, which is at least anticipated for 1.21.

BTW im pretty sure when this happens, the stats of the items will be reduced lol. I am fairly sure it says that also!

Yes they are planning to abolish slot costs at some point. However if they let you equip that many, they'll have reduced stats compared to now. Or they'll reduce the number of accessories total and leave the stats as is.

Cheers guys, glad I wasn't loosing my mind, or thinking dreams were reality..

I'd prefere less stats and more equip-able items, it lets you 'dress up' your character more, I hate seeing everyone wearing the same stuff in MMO's, with the ability to affix materia to accessories.

more likely we wont be able to wear as many

expect it to go down to only 2 rings and 1 wrist

I would like:
2 earrings, 2 rings, 1 neck, 2 wrists please!

I can see it as 1 neck, 1 wrist, 2 rings.

Also agreeing with the theory that it accessory slot cost adjustment will come with Goldsmithing recipes.

Ya can't wait for this be nice to use all slots since you can see what you are wearing and really be showing off what you got lol.

Eh, with the way stats can be pumped via Materia I really don't see a necessity to change the amount of stats on the current accessories, but who knows what they'll do.

i dont mind less but that isnt plenty at all in my book. then again having a toaster, four walls and a roof is probably plenty in a few peoples opinions too.

I will be happy when they do this, I hate seeing empty equipment slots...
