GOLDEN NEEDLE YES PLEASE.
yeah this will take me a while. busy doing other things @_@
Theres a few ppl in my LS with all 50s already. And some others I know also.
Im sure they going for it
Where is the gold? I want the gold!!
Only have 2,400 more tree to chop... lol
I'm working on the fishing rod, slowly but surely.
i want everything, so yeah, im going for it
if id focus on 1 id have done alot more, but so far....
3/15 botony
1/15 fishing
7/15 mining
2/5 gold
1/5 carp
1/5 blacksmith
1/5 armor
and thatl rise alot the more time i put into it, i wont stop til i have every achievment in the game!
it's 375 trees per area assuming you get a full 8 attempts at each (grade 5 of course)
That's what I assumed she thought too but I was just going to let reality hit after she talked to the NPC. X) ("What? Where's my hatchet?! D'=")
Actually...getting the golden axe first would be more realistic for me since I can actually tolerate DoL
40 on btn 39 on wvr, so yeah i'm starting now, looks like each achievement is how much it should take to get out of that level range.
Yeah, you have to ONLY do trees though for that theory to be correct and each tree @ a level range is about 375 exp on avg. G4 is about 70k 2000 attempts *375 (exp)= 750,000 exp thats alot of room for your level range you be heading towards G5 and still doing G4 trees because you need that achievement. not only that you need to do this X3 ( 1 for each region) so 750,000 *3= 2,250,000 exp Yeah.. so I don't think it was made for a level range
I already have the gold.

I want to, but I'm not going to work at it (aggressively) anytime soon. And if/when they lose relevance due to newer higher level tools being added and whatnot, I won't flare up. It's something to be expected, after all. I see it as a collectable. :P
on a side note
gathering fatigue still does exist
and yes, i have really been out that long gathering
Unfortunately for me most of my crafting levels are too high for me to want to go back and redo them for these items. DoL items are a possibility, if I can ever figure out the best way to work the mini games but at the moment it is not a major concern. These sets of Achievements appear to be better suited for new player just starting out.
theres a trick to the dol games having to do with durability
like at bloodshore with mining
if its a really short/semi short dura, i go halfway to the middle
if its a decent length durability, i go halfway from middle to outer ring
if its a long long dura, i go to the halfway to inner ring spot again
and its a 100% first hit success
youll learn the spots after a little work at each camp
Does Chopped Damaged Goods effect the Gathering Achievements?
As a level 50 Miner I will not be actively going for it. I see NO reason to. I already DID all the grunt work! Why in the name of jeebus do I want to do it all over again?
Nope. I will mine for profit and if eventually I get it so be it.
actualy, you can get them while mining for profit
grade 3 gives you all those nice tier 2 gems that sell for 20k+ each
grade 4/5 will give you all the bigger items that crafters want for endgame
grade 1-2 take so little time that even though they may suck for profit, youll have them done quick
I'm sure if they increase level cap more achievement rewards will be made available. Maybe in order to get future achievements you will have to complete current achievements. Something along the lines of you must obtain the gold rod before you can obtain the platinum rod! (level 65);D
I don't think I'll be *actively* going for it. The way I saw it, it was a lifestyle choice.
I'll still need lots o' iron for armorsmithery and blacksmithery since it looks like it's in lots of recipes.
Not too interested in goldsmithing, but in my quest for mythril, the silver is going to come my way.
And cobalt to follow.
If I do see the grade 5 mining achievement for a region, I probably would consider dropping a grade in that region. But do not think I would forcefully start with lower grades just yet.
