Or you could like, I don't know, hit your positionals.
Crazy I know
It should definitely be reduced to 90 seconds at minimum. There are just too many times in raids where you have no opportunity to hit your positionals because mechanics.
Yeah, it needs lower duration and lower cooldown. Very rarely are you forced to miss positionals for the full 15 seconds, and then it never comes back up in time for when you need it again.
Haven't had to use it yet, personally. Usually I find that other utilities are more useful.
As a Monk, it is maddening how much Stormblood bosses love to tornado. I'd love a decrease in the True North cool down if the pattern of wildly flailing bosses continues.
Alte's fire orbs and when he teleports into the wall and you can't hit any flanks...
Catastrophe's tentacle quakes and petrifying orbs...
Halicarnassus's's's checkerboard pattern and stack mechanics (oh god that's gonna be fuuuuuuuuuuuuun on savage)
The black holes and Holy on omega 4's boss...
Yeah this pattern of spinning bosses looks to be a thing in Omega too.
Also, as someone who mains monk but leveled Ninja, I never realized just how ****ing hard it is to land Trick Attack on half these bosses. "Oh you're mudra'ing up Suiton? TIME TO SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN"
Am I the only one that thinks we'd be better off if positionals went in the garbage where it belonged? Along with bow mage, gun mage, fracture, and all the other trash?
Can you even hit positionals on bosses who are just a big face looking at the arena?
Hey how do you macro true north? I want to macro it with trick attack
I tried /action True North does not seem to work even solely on its own
I do feel it could stand to have its duration and children reduced by 33%, as I've felt it runs at least 5 seconds longer than I really need it, but so far I'm decently happy with the cooldown. I don't really find many/any bosses whose rotations can't be anticipated/played around, just means it takes more learning and effort to do consistently in those fights.
