The increase of mount speed and Clouds Motorbike

Since mounts move faster will this mean we may see clouds motorbike implemented into the game? If i recall correctly they had the model finished but decided against its implementation due to slow ground mount speeds. But with the increase it should work. What do you think?

Make it a reward for getting the speed boosts in every single zone.

I think you need to stop beating that dead horse. Fast or not, it still looks shoehorned into an enviornment it has no place in.

Please just let the motorbike die already.

Given the advances with magitechnology and the garlond ironworks, its not completely out of the realm of possibility for such a thing to exist to be fair.

I mean you only need to look at that new mount people may soon get from that be subscribed for 90 days promotion :p

In lore, perhaps. Maybe in 5.0/Garlemald.
In practicality, definitely not. Given how fast it's supposed to go it will forever be limited to a slow trot making it look ridiculous.

Considering the Live Letter when they were in Germany, Yoshi said that there is NOT going to be the implementation of the bike into the game.

Poster before me was right. Yoshi confirmed the bike will never be added and to please stop asking about it. Revealing its model was a mistake he regrets.

Good to know, I stopped playing for awhile so i missing quite a few pieces of news, and i was bringing up an old curiosity that had come to mind. But i should have remembered people are like to chew off your ankles for not gathering every scrap of news eh?

More than a car, I'd prefer a multi-seater chocobo carriage like the one in ARR opening.

Please just let it go.

tbh id like to see this too. from what i looked up 1.0 was suppose to get chocobo carriages as a mode of transport. shocked they never used it, WoW has a fairly popular undead carriage ride near the main city for undead from what me g/f said. as well as 5 seater mounts that were popular that people would do tour rides for during events. 1 silver and you get a 10min ride around the zone.

I mean, I can think of another popular theme park MMO that has... several motorbikes. And a giant gnome head. And a giant pink rocket called the Big Love Rocket.

But no, I think we should focus on the serious MMO Final Fantasy XIV, with its giant spinning tortoise and light-up kiddy-ride from a completely unrelated children's show.

I would rather see a new design. Maybe something magitech or something Biggs made. (seeing as the Falcon is Wedge's creation)

Don't forget the gravity defying, super serious fat chocobo mounts.
Or how people can flying around on a floating chair.

I'm betting we'll get it either as a reward either for the in-game collaboration event whenever the FF7 remake releases, or as a bonus item code included in the actual, physical box for part 1 of the game. If they wanted to make sure you had to buy ALL of 7, they could even make it so that you had to get a code from each 'episode', and put them into a promo website to generate an item code for the bike.

What I DON'T believe, is that we'll never get Fenrir, since I've lived through quite a few rounds of SE telling us something isn't happening and then doing it anyway that I know never to believe it when they say 'haha, that trailer means nothing, it was just our CGI guys fooling around'. All it really means is they're not ready to announce anything officially yet.

If this was going to be added to the game I think they would tie in a promotion with the release of 7

*nods* I am in agreement.
If we journey North in the next expansion and the Garleans have more roads,trains etc then it might suit the environment and lore far better

I don't want to see Cloud's motorbike, but I would be interested in seeing a Garlean or Ironworks styled motorbike or some such two-wheel vehicle.

Could be a reward for beating Omega2/3 or 4, you find the mount in the ripped dimension all broken down, cid fixes it with a couple of turn-in quest and bam, new mount!
