If I buy 90 day subscribe on July. When I get a mount to the end of August?

If you purchase 90 days playtime during July, you will get the mount on or after 5th September.

You know this ad also exist in French and Deutsch

To add to this, if I do nothing* and keep paying my monthly sub this entire time, will I get this mount?

i believe you have to actually sub for the extra 90 days option in the mog station

Only way around that s if you have a higher paid sub option like 180 days o higher then youll get it by september.

if you are paying for just 30 days at a time you will have to choose the 90 day sub option to get it.

If you buy 90 days of game time during the 3 months you get the mount in September.

So you cannot use time cards? Specifically the sub option in Mogstation? :|

From the original posting about the campaign:

The number of days of subscription time added to your account, excluding free play periods, is how eligibility will be determined. This does not mean that 90 days must have elapsed to be eligible. For example, you can still obtain the mount if you purchase a 90-day subscription period on September 30, 2017.
If you have remaining subscription time that was purchased before the campaign period, or you have an active recurring subscription, we will calculate any remaining game time available as of Saturday, July 1, towards the campaign.

To me, that says any amount of time on a recurring payment will count towards it as long as it's in the period. And any remaining time(so if you bought a 180day sub the day before campaign began) will also count towards it.

okay thanks! not a real big issue but I would've assumed paying my sub 1 month at a time would've been enough. Im glad i asked. ;>_>

The TL;DR version is that so long you paid your sub covering July, August & September, irregardless of pre-paid before July, paying in one or multiple sums on/starting from July (or any combination of the above), you will get the Falcon mount.

...or at least that's how I understand from reading the advertisement.

Makes sense, least I hope that is how it is as I use Crysta and cant seem to find a 90day option with it). Have tried to use my Debit/Credit cards for a sub but would end up with issues for some reason years before @_@

So long you paid for July, August, September 90 days play time within the period you should get it.

You will get it since you will pay 3 times during the period (once in July, once in August and once in September).
The idea is that on July 1st, people had N (paid) days remaining on their account.
- If that N is greater or equal to 90, then there is nothing to do, the mount will be rewarded in September ;
- Otherwise, they have to pay for 90-N days during the period. This can be done by subbing for 90 days straight even on the last day or by paying several times 30 days.

If the goal is to get the mount, I suggest to switch to 90-days (or 180-days) since it is cheaper than 3 30-days subscription.

Hmmm I think it's simpler.

Imagine if you paid 180 days on May. Now your account has like 150~ ish days left and the promotion started right now.
Having 150 days left it means you're already eligible and you will get the mount, since you had more than 90 days into your account during the period.

If you pay monthly you'll get the mount, the difference being that you will get the mount in October instead of September, because only people that has 90+ days paid before the end of the event gets it first.


So to sum it up, never unsub and you'll get the mount no matter the method you pay.

You get it wrong
07.01 - 07.31 = 31 days
08.01 - 08.31 = 31 days
09.01 - 10.01 = 31 days
total = 93 days

06.15 - 07.14 = 14 days (beginning with 07.01)
07.15 - 08.14 = 31 days
08.15 - 09.14 = 31 days
09.15 - 10.01 = 17 days
total = 93 days

I think we are okay, ive been subbed for the last 3 years (lol) straight with the 180 day option on recurring and have a lot of confidence in saying the mount is as good as ours.

It is, so @Nora_of_Mira, as long your account is active with paid time (no free month, no free 15 days) you are set.

Anyways, any of you got the mount in the "view additional items" section by any chance? I have 144 days left on my account so I should be eligible by far, yet I don't see it reflected on my account!

Just sub normally and I can get the mount eventually,right ?

The period is 92- or 93-day long. If you sub for 180 days and no payment is scheduled during the period, that means that you had more than 90 days remaining on July 1st. Therefore, you are good to go.

Right.

I would just advise people to be careful with free days, especially the 15 free days from Omega / Louisoix or the free 30 days for adding ARR on another plateform. These are the only way not to get the mount.
For instance, if on July 1st, 80 days were remaining, then the 15 free days will delay the next payment to after the end of the campaign.

basically they will be the new fat chocobo. You'll log in one day and see like 200 of them spinning around the aetheryte

Me too.I dont have in the view additional items but i have more then 170days..

if I pay monthly is automatic, but in August the payment failed, but the problem was corrected the same day, I am still a candidate for the mount?

You should be fine, all you need now is September's payment to have accumulated 90 days credited in your account and qualify for the second delivery.
