Suggestion for Gold Saucer event: Bardam's Mettle Trials

Second boss of Bardam's Mettle. Make a GATE based on it. MGP you get is based on how long you make it. over the course of 2-3 minutes.

OR

Make it something you can only do once daily, like the mini cactpot, where you go into a special area with X other players and see if you can last up to Y rounds, kind of like the battle thingie from FFVII, cept you're running from damage, not dealing it.

That would actually be fantastic. It might also help people learn to dodge more.

When I first did the Typhon GATE, I was honestly expecting it to be something more like what the TC described, rather then a game of chance.

Kinda hoping it actually becomes a trial fight.

I'd like to see an elimination type game where everybody has to dodge mechanics. Once they fail a mechanic, they're out. Last one standing wins.

Not only that, but we'd have less chances of that annoying 'Skinchange' fate, which honestly feels like it appears much more than any other fate, personally.

id like to see this in the hall of novice. It works better then the current aoe avoid trial.

they do need a hall of novice trail that teaches players how to handle each mark/ target/aoe type.

I would love to see this become a GATE, we need more of those anyway. While the stage for "Any Way the Wind Blows" and "Time of My Life" would be an excellent location for it, it would be excellent if they took advantage of other areas of the Saucer as well. They could turn the center of Wonder Square East into an arena and have the giant Senor Sabotender statue come to life to execute the trial.

And you can have a top 3 tiered mgp rewards!


I would love to see this happen.

They should make a Stone, Sea, Sky version of that boss fight so people can practice a mock up version of the mechanics they are expected to dodge.

True. Though they could still add it to both. Maybe one that's way more unpredictable in the saucer though, it'd still help break the monotousness of the current GATES.
