Request: Aether Current "Jump Potion"

Since the rest of the ARR/HS content is available in the Mog station, why not the aether currents too? How much would you be willing to pay?

Honestly? Nothing, because the Aether Current hunting doesn't really bother me.

None of the skip potions are for the current content, unless you meant the HW Aether Currants.

If you want to skip them that badly, just get a friend with a two-seater chocobo to fly you around to them.

I'm confused, the currents are locked behind the MSQ, so wouldn't the HW skip unlock them anyway?

There's a bunch of field currents, so only the story-based ones would be unlocked

Nope I asked someone who used the potion, it unlocks all currents but you can still do the side quests for just an xp reward.

People really don't want to play games these days.

They should make a potion that skips the entire game. Why bother with bothersome grinds such as logging on or queueing for a duty?

Put up a PF and offer gil to be carted around each zone like Miss Daisy to collect the currents. 100k per zone, someone will bite.

If you feel that you need a "jump potion" for aether currents and/or other silly skips like that, you probably should stop playing the game because you dont wanna play the game anyway. So, save your money for something else.

And to be honest, im 100% supportive of job level boost potions, but msq skip potions are just retarded. What are people doing in a final fantasy game if they skip the story. The story is like 80% of the game. Literally, there is so little going on out of it. If you skip it, it feels you are playing some generic arcade game.

Trust me, dont skip msq. Do the story. Apart from the fact that, as mentioned above, its literally 80% of what FFXIV has to offer, you will be stuck, like me and pretty much everyone else, jumping around buildings in kugane...

And the next will be ilvl jump potions threads.

Why even buy the game if you aren't going to play it?

Please can I have the coil and alexander jump potions? I dont want to do them I just want to tell people I have

People version of playing a game these days much just be throwing their wallet at the screen, and going "i beat the game!"

The MSQ skip potion DOES give you all heavensward Aethercurrents in all heavensward zones.

you can fly straight away if you summon the black chocobo or other HW flying mount.

The only thing you need to do is an optional side quest if you want to teach your grand company chocobo or other ARR mounts such as the magitek walker to fly in heavensward areas.

So if you've bought the msq skip and you can't fly. its because you're trying to use an ARR mount and haven't done that side quest. Summon the black chocobo or manacutter and you'll be able take to the skies straight away.

or go do that optional sidequest. takes less than 2 minutes

Ironically enough a few friends and myself bought these potions specifically to save money.

It cost me £18 to throw an alt through the msq. and set its retainers up as miner and botanist.. so now I have 4 working retainers. for a one off cost of £18.

the alternaive option is pay £3 every month for 2 additional retainers and the extra storage which equates to £36 a year...

when you look at it like that it's actually a pretty solid investment and will save you a small fortune long term...

I wouldn't see the point. Flight doesn't do much for you other than let you farm FATES, gather, hunts faster. Am I missing something? These are a lot more grindy than aether currents are. If you can't stand getting a few aether currents, then I can't see how you can stand to gather, FATEs, hunt farming.

Was about to write the same thing. Seriously... buy a game and then pay to skip it all.

Lets have a potion that completes all content, boosts all you jobs to max level and teleports your character to the most popular afk spot in town.
