Holy Spirit, what a disappointment..

What is with visuals of this ability? Why does it look SO underwhelming? Why does it SOUND so underwhelming?
It's supposed to be PLD's fell cleave equivalent; a huge burst of damage that should feel rewarding to use. Yet i feel like i'm practically tickling a monster with an oversized snowflake alongside a soothing and refreshing tinkle sound. Um, excuse me?

Paladins have composure, we don't need loud obnoxious noises to smite the wicked.

holy spirit is awesome. it's just like ryoma in fire emblem fates when he hits someone at range with his sword

Erm you Think its bad? well assume you dont play mutch paladin?
when move out of Dodge damn skill aoe from a boss and you stay still there few second why not pop out holy spirit that does dmg?

that atlest i found it very good! And sounds effect i really not care mutch!

I'm not talking about its use! I'm talking about it's visual and sound direction, which i think is completely ineffective in its presentation!

True enough but at least they don't sound like rusty saw blades right? Going blade isn't exactly loud but it sure is flashy, flashier than the other tanks equivalents.

yeah the animation is poor , like throwing a snowflake :(

even FFXI holy I and Holy II or hell even "banish" animations would have been better :/

You get your lvl70 skill as compensation. Look at the DRK and you can see someone with poor new animations.

The sounds for PLDs new abilities are definitely disappointing. Doesn't feel impact full when you hear just a tiny little sound.

I thought Passage of Arms was our big, flashy ability for the expansion.

Sure its not as flashy as other spells..but when you consider the damage and range it does I dont think that that matters too much. We are PLD's, not casters.
It is one PLD's strongest skills so idk where you're getting "tickle damage" from, and If you buff it with Requiescat you will see even more damage.
If you want flashy spells I would recommend a magic DPS.

hey, I kinda like my dark buzz saw strike and conjuring an orb of darkness to cheese tank busters thank you very much.

Paladin's design is elegance, holy spirit is just fine right now, and with full party and their dps utilities I finally saw a skill that hits over 10k on Paladin...
