Good morning!
I got my red mage up to 70 and i understand the pain for the queue times. I felt it myself.
So I am currently running POTD to bring my Paladin (a character I havent touched since 2.4) to the forfront so I can get her to lvl 60
My goal is to help alleviate this queue issue (for free of course)

I also started leveling a DRK after the "tank for sale" spree(even though i have my SCH gf and dont have any queues). I couldnt take it anymore. Im gonna try to help as many dps as possible so we can get rid of this plague.

I'm sick of healers and tanks. They either demand 100k+, or kick you for not having a party bonus. This is actually making me not want to play this game.

People are charging for runs? Damn I coulda been a millionaire by now... But really insta queues are quite a privilege for those with the self restraint to hold back on levelling the shiny new dps yet. If people want to pay then they'll pay to beat all other dps in queues.
That said, I just df everything to keep the df moving and the person waiting longest gets in. Or if I'm feeling generous I'll grab someone outside the dungeon. All the tanks I know on Odin haven't charged nor have I seem mention of it in shout chat. I think you guys are unlucky with your local community if they're kicking people without a bonus -

It's not like they ALL charge for queues. Hell, try asking nicely if any need to run the content that you're trying to run. I'm sure someone will run with you and you MIGHT even make a friend.Quote:

I made the mistake of being a DPS main. I sat in queue for an expert roulettes for an hour and a half. Finally just gave up and logged out.
Not really sure what to do at this point. I don't like tanking or healing. DPS jobs are what I have fun playing.
Guess it's time to maybe consider a break from FFXIV for a while. -

Lvled my rdm to 70 first, then just today got my AST to 70 while my husband got his PLD to 70. While lvling we looked to PF groups of dps pairs looking for tanks and healers to help them out. Next I'll be working on drk. Partly it was because I didnt want to wait an hour queueing for roulettes, but I also want to help people who want to be dps.
Although getting real tired of the attitudes of some dps, like the bard today who face pulled then only auto attacked, or the monk that wouldnt put aoes on his hotbar. -

Well I won't do that - it doesn't seem right.
Lately I've been going to PF for dungeons. Find a group that needs a tank and away we go.
DF gives me tankxienty -- it seems I often end up with players that don't know what they are doing. -

I wish I could help people out more between friends and FC mates I cant get off of DRK to level RDM and PLD like I want to cause I am trying to get everyone to 70. Though I have seen call outs from DPS and seen a number of tanks helping DPS with queues. Its kinda nice to see the community helping each other out
