why not all dungeons?

I really love the new system that guarantees one piece of armor each time you beat a leveling dungeon. It means that with absolutely the worst rng youd get every piece in ten runs.

But I winder why not the 60 and 70 dungeons as well? If the points of dungeons is to get catchup gear for other classes then why not do it here too? It's not like ppl would stop running dungeons we'd still need tomes.

Probably because while leveling, you need that gear more, and i can speak from experience about leveling some jobs in HW and going several runs without seeing something drop for my job. That makes later dungeons even rougher, as i am behind in levels. The 70 ones, you are getting tomes, so even if you don't get a drop, you are still going to something that will help you get gear.

Because removing RNG from dungeon drops kills content life when they desperately need content to last 3+ months? I mean, I'd love it too but I don't see it happening.

Except that we'd still need to run them for tomestones as tomestone gear is what you need for your main and this would only help your second jobs.

But again the tomestones are for your main. I dont think ppl are using dungeon gear for main jobs mostly for their second jobs. But maybe I'm wrong in which case i can see why they wouldnt change it

Ran about 8 level 70 dungeons today farming for scripts, and all I got was a set of earrings and a helmet. I'd love if they added this, but I don't think they will seeing as this is a good way to keep people coming back to run the content... glamour.

I'd love it on all dungeons, but especially the old 24 man raids. Those are such a pain to get a queue for and have some of the coolest looking gear.

The main reason is so that whilst running dungeons you never run into a problem where you get to the next dungeon and your ilvl is too low to proceed into the next dungeon

Have they fixed the weapons not dropping?

This is kind of backwards. You've always been guaranteed something in capped dungeons (tomestones), the problem was that you weren't guaranteed anything in leveling dungeons. Now, you're guaranteed something in both.

Probably has somewhat to do with the crafted gear at max level.

The 50 & 60 roulette ones they probably don't care since people can skip over some of those, the MSQ feeds you gear for those levels and it's only one level before you start getting the guaranteed dungeon gear drops again. They can also be undersized and farmed at max level.

Would be nice for Xenobian tank gear.... my new white dragon.

It's simple really, you get tomestones from those dungeons which can be used to get the gear you need. Leveling dungeons have 0 means of getting what you need if you get nothing, that's why they added it, so when you are leveling, you have a better opportunity of updating your gear.

Lv 50/60/70 dungeons don't have this issue because of said tomestones which allow you to purchase better gear.
