how hard do you consider the fight in general?
how hard compared to Ifrit?
what was your battle setup?

thm is very powerful.. but their MP pool cannot sustain an entire fight.

THe guy who made ifrit was literally crying after someone beat ifrit in 4days, you guys may of just pushed him over the edge LOL. He needs to make an absolute virtue or something. But seriously guys congrats! /gcsalute!

well to be honest, the fight didnt look as difficult according to the video as compared to Ifrits promo video.

How about if THM took loads of ethers to the fight? I have inventory full of all kinds of potions...

I remember in 11, before all the new stuff came out, mages had to always carry ethers, yagudo drinks, ginger cookies etc. to make sure they could keep up with the MP consumption. Maybe cooking and alchemy will start to get some demand now... Just a thought.

Thm can easily put out 1k dmg nukes. If you want to spend that much gil per fight, more power to ya haha

You can only use meds once every 5min, and even a +3 ether only restores about 150MP.

One day cleared content after the designer for Ifrit promised more challenging stuff sure is sadface. But then again if he had designed the fight without exploits it probably would have gone on a bit longer. =/

So you forgot to add that you used exploits to bypass a game mechanic the designer originally intended for you to overcome?

What is this month's flavor of the day exploit? Last month it was abusing Wrist Flick on Ifrit.

Ethers have a huge cooldown for how little they restore. IMO they're only worth using just before you take a break from casting to kick start your MP regen. (Since sometimes it can take forever for it to start)

What's the prerequisite for reentering the fight? Ifrit had Tapers, is there a Moogle equivalent?

I would sincerely hope it's not killing those damn NMs again.
