And that will stop a bot that is made to still deal damage and heal how? SE needs to implement detection technology like wow does.
They need to implement detection technology, of course, but until that time this is a simple addition that should have been implemented regardless because it also prevents AFK players.
As player that has not done Frontlines in over a year, and I remember sucking at it, hence the reason I do not bother anymore. Just how difficult is to reach said numbers?
Do your proposed number unfairly punish bad players?
I like these ideas.
It's not difficult and shouldn't be a problem for actual players. If anything, it's on the low side and could be increased to 75,000 or 100,000 damage dealt.
With the new PVP system I've seen the top players do between 200,000-500,000+ damage dealt in a single Frontlines match. Even players new to PVP should have no problem reaching 100,000 damage.
It would punish tactical players and CC machines.
In frontlines I run a DRK and I'm either hitting the crystal or dragging people into my group to kill them, but often times I'm not getting too much damage dealt even though I'm scoring assists left and right.
Trust me, as long as you're actually playing, you should be able to deal at least 50,000 damage with your eyes closed.
A true detection technologie would be better.
Your idea will punish some players not performing well and not punish bot just so 100k anyway with cure II spamming.... it would more hurt the players than actualy fixing the problem

Bots are not the only problem right now as you can see from all the other threads being posted.
well maybe this wont help much but why not just update palace to 70 so we level using it?
I continue to see 5+ players including healers just sitting at spawn the entire game with less than 10,000 damage or healing done.
If they're sitting AFK vote kick them, or encourage other groups to vote kick them.
What I'd personally like to see is the drastic reduction of XP gained for coming in 2nd or 3rd for Frontlines. Right now people are going full on retard, either not doing objects, afk'ing, or throwing games because the XP they earn is the same for all placements.
If SE changed this, or even removed XP then I'd think we'd see less of these shenanigans.
Reduction of experience based on placement honestly would do more harm than good. People would still AFK regardless and end up on the winning team.
Even as a premade of 8 people in 72-mans there are times when you simply can't carry your team to victory.
I don't agree that it would do more harm than good. If you have multiple players AFK across all teams in your faction the chance of your faction pulling through a 1st place victory are much lower; so I think it would be rarer for those AFK players to end up on the winning team. It's hard to pull a win with half the team when you're fighting a faction will all their members actively participating.
If they nerf the XP gained to 2nd/3rd place then it's more likely those players who are AFK'ing or throwing games currently (because XP is equal for all levels) will participate; or better yet, stop queuing entirely.
Or, you know, instead of allowing AFK players to receive any experience, address the root of the issue and don't allow them to receive anything if they don't actually contribute.
What if you were able to purchase experiences scrolls/points with wolf mark ? giving amount of marks depending on your total score ? (with a x1.1~1.2 bonus for having honor, so it would contribute ppl of doing great work, changing how honor work in there and be able to give more than one)
And so, you can totally disable the exp bonus.
