Spending most of the time in log-in queues.

I don't understand how SE can't be ashamed of themselves just allowing these insane log-in queues to be there. People need to wait over 2-3 hours to just be able to log in, and if you're unlucky like me, you dc/crash 10 minutes after logging in after a 3 hour queue. I can't express how disgusting this is, I find this completely unacceptable. And the respone: 'Please consider using the world transfer service'. This is such a shameless response, especially after people spend 6+ hours daily queuing in log-in queues because of dc'ing. This is unacceptable, completely unacceptable. They should be ashamed of themselves.

it's beyond unacceptable, meanwhile people are allowed to stay logged in despite having been afk for god knows how long simply by being in dialogue with NPC, open vendor shop window or by crafting (quite possibly more options to stay logged in.) fix your server capacities, idc about the ifs and hows, that's what YOU get paid for. Blizzard was able to increase their server capacities quite significantly when it was a major issue. If they can then so can you, work on it, I don't want to sit in 6-hour queues because 5k other players are sitting in queue tomorrow when its official release, it's unacceptable coming home from work or school or whatever else the good people are doing with their time. And if the ARR potato servers are at its maximum capacity or whatever it may be then you need to look at getting better servers since the current ones are no longer capable of running at optimal capacity for your growing game and its expanding playerbase.

2nd point I'd like to make is when you DC or log out quickly (to fix the no sound problem for instance ... still looking for a solution to that are we, SE?) you get to keep your spot on the server so you don't have to sit in a 2-3hour long queue and can quickly log in. Being at the mercy of these wonky servers to not get a DC is ... not optimial.

I can only play during peaktime. Yes some people have to work :P Guess I won't be playing for a while. Been part of several launches but hadn't suspected this would still exist. I mean come on.....they could've expected this.

And no i don't want to transfer. That's not a real sollution. I love my Moogle :)

I just had an DC, the game tells me "You're not logged out play wait till its done" like WTF is wrong with you? IF im logged, let me rejoin ffs...

And that stupid sound bug... pls.... just lettme swich to any device for my sound - smt i wanna get my headphones without relogging.

This happens to me a lot, and I need to wait like 5 minutes until that stupid message disappears and I can log in again, but 5 minutes is better than the multiple 3 hour queues I'm having now.

Didn't you folks get the memo going around? It's 100% your fault that Square Enix failed to properly manage server populations by preventing them from going over their known capacity. That's completely on you.

At least, that's what people are about to tell you. :rolleyes:

Wont happen. Game even tell you to wait before relogging for you to logout with error 3102 (If im correct).

I agree to AFK people, they are a plague. Many sit ingame 24/7 for example dancing in a city holding a spot for someone who actually would like to play. There should be 20-30 minute limit for being AFK. After that you get kicked. That would drastically let out pressure over servers even after Stromblood release. To connection, as far as Im aware SE still uses p2p as connection option which many ISP will cap the speed and or connection quality meaning packages of data going missing between you and server.
Lastly for SE to think about is to make instances where player does alone with NPCs to be hosted on players console/PC. Once the instance is finished, executables send packages to server that quest or instance is completed and game puts you back online. Thats another release of resources for instances where you do with other players. I dont know how console would handle it, but on PC this should be possible.

Well I am basically paying for a game I can not play this is great.. what are they going to do to fix this it can not stand like this.. I understand a new patch or addition was added well if that is the case they need to make their servers so they can have more people on them..

I am sure there is something that can be done but if this is the best they can come up with I guess I will request a refund..

I agree, this is completely ridiculous. It seems like they aren't doing anything beyond saying "use the world transfer service." I just got home from work and the login queue is at 4000. There's no way I'll be able to play tonight, yet again. Why am I paying for a service that is not being provided?

My boyfriend have been having bad lag since the Early Access started and even then we tried leveling up doing Fates. He was being kicked a few times but not more than that.

However, a couple of days ago we entered a dungeon in order to do a roulette but he kept being kicked every time, not even a minute online before being kicked again.

Since then he couldn't even stay logged in for more than 1 minute, His character is now in a city but still, every time he tries to log in, he can't stay on for more than a single minute before being kicked out. A case of extreme lag, I don't know why but his internet connection is not the problem.

To clarify, he logs in, it's not a 90002 error, he actually logs in, he can party up with me maybe ? or teleport maybe? but then he just disconnects. We haven't been able to play at all since early access. We are terribly frustrated. We haven't even touched any new content.

It makes me sad because he was so hyped for the new expansion and it's been nothing but disappointment so far :/

Please help?

Waited in a two hour queue tonight. Finally got in game, and would have probably had about 30-40 minutes of playtime before I had to log for the night. Sadly I got the 90006 error after about 15 minutes of playing and was kicked out. When I tried to log back in, I was greeted with a queue of 4,011 people.

I am so done.

3 hours in queue, 30 minutes in game, directX11 error, 3 hours in queue again. Thanks for early access in-game experience, Square Enix.

I don't mind sitting in an initial queue. What I really hate is when you get disconnected and you're forced to the back of the queue. It's one thing if you sign out and decide to sign back in, but when disconnected there needs to be a grace period to let you jump the queue. I mean, you're being punished for server issues...
