I just want a BLUE MAGE TANK that uses a bo/staff. Having a bo/staff user in the game would make it complete for me especially if it's a tank.

Dancer. Healer. That would have got me to switch to a new class as my main. But alas it didn't happen, so I became a paladin for Stormblood. Which has been my first to max level in ARR, HW, and now SB.
I think Geomancer is a given now. We know it was originally going to be in 4.0 and it's mentioned heavily in the 4.0 Astrologian story line.
Wasn't there mention of geo since 1.0?

Please let us toll the Bell again :)
Apart from Geomancer Yoshida also mentioned in a Twinfinite interview that the other job they were developing was a Shaman/Oracle which was going to a ranged magic DPS.
But couldn't find the right translation for the kind of job it was. Apparently 'Oracle' was the closest translation
Blue Mage tank, or a Beast Master tank would be cool, something that dual wields maces/ warhammers.
Elementalist. Healer.
I know, it's not a good time to ask for another healer right now with the way that the balances are working but honestly an Elementalist could function rather well. Imagine a healer that could put vuln up on a boss, maybe drop a blind on them, or just make their next attack hit a little softer. A PvP powerhouse that tosses out status afflictions like candy. Give them some nice direct heals and some ground aoes (no HoTs or shields thanks), or let them do 'splash' healing where they link targets together and a heal on one is a heal for all?
Puppeteer or beastmaster
im not going to think of DPS concepts sense there would be an infinite number of possibilities.
honestly, the only three concepts i can think of in the tank category is a duel-wielding "centurion", a magic-based tank, or a tank with ranged attacks (similar to my concept: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...Machinist-Tank). anything else that comes to mind such as a samurai-tank or a hammer wielder, feels like the devs could just give DRK samurai-based gear, and WAR blunt-based gear.
as for healers, a dancer would be very interesting as well as an Oracle. Im not sure exactly what an Oracle does, but to make it unique in my head, im thinking it has something to do with prayer and using spiritual-magic to assist in battle; like a summoner, but summoning mostly support-based minions (or spirits).
I want a non-casting healer; think BRD/MCH, but you'll be shooting people to heal them. While heals are lower potency, they can be done without worrying about casting time and as a result you'll have the best mobility of all healers.
Or maybe a "Chemist" wherein you'll have a mudra-like system where you mix up base items (mudras) to activate the more powerful healing/offensive abilities?
I haven't played the new jobs but don't care, here's my obligatory Chemist post. Healer of course.
Ugh... please don't let BLU be a tank. It's the only class I really really want and making it a tank would just kill it for me.

Mix could work like Mudra. Possibly store potions similar to AST's Spread.
Here's another example of the same job (different name) from Bravely Default. http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/S...ravely_Default)
Necromancer. A melee healer class as well.
whatever new jobs we get in the future they need to be tanks and healers.
Blue Mage tank, Geomancer, Chemist (please be Garlean), and dancer please.
a real pet class thats mechanics are built around the pet.
Either puppetmaster or beastmaster.
But well we seem to have too many damage dealer roles for now.. so lets see ..
And please patch the Summoner more into a real summoner like they did with demi-bahamut now.
Blue Mage, some sort of transformation job, and while I have no idea how'd you balance it in PvP I'd like a disgustingly mobile job lol (gliding or dashing on a very smooth and low cooldown/passive/integral part, perhaps dashing attacks built into rotation, a bit in the direction of red mage except more XD).
Blue Mage.
Just imagine being able to use some of the more iconic attacks from FFXIV bosses.
Dancer (DNC) - DNC all the way! :D Not specifically like it's FFXI version, but still primarily a non-casting healer based around steps and dance combos having different effects (like FFT's DNC).
Haven't and will not play either RDM or SAM, but I'm answering anyway.
Geomancer and/or Bluemage. But...
AST's SB storyline puts the spotlight on Geomancers so hard that it's almost insulting. But there's a lot of emphasis on earth, water and wind... And the NPC uses those attacks as a CNJ, so I'm a little worried that CNJ is this game's poor man's Geomancer.
And the pre-order Moogle Mail delivering the Ala Mhigan earrings and wind-up RDM pretty much said "may they[items] help you forget all about blue mage."
Ugh!
Blue mage: a tank that reflects/copies spells cast on them by the boss.
Whatever we get, I hope its not a healer. The balance between them is so screwed it's almost laughable.
I'd like to see blue mage tank and dancer healer. :)
Instead of doing Blue Mage tank since it has been mentioned already many times. I would like to see something unique so this is what I thought up. It is basically a Morpher which is one of the more obscure jobs. It is basically a multi-role shapeshifting job whose skills change pending on the form. Each role would get a monster whose form best suits the role. (behemoth for tank maybe?) It would have at least 4 forms total. Tank, Healer, Range/magic DPS, and Melee DPS.
The job story could be a discovery of allagan tech carrying the aetheric signature of monsters that allows the user to cloak themselves with it and transform into said monster. The quest could involve finding unique variants of popular monsters in FF (or unique to ff14) and obtaining their aether signature to gain the forms.
weapon: Monster Orb
it would also be cool to get glamours later on for the forms to be our favorite monsters.
Mystic Knight (or Spellblade/Runic Knight) as a tank, and Chemist (Salve Maker) as a healer
I would love Dancer, weather as a DPS or Healer (can't imagine as a Tank but eh) but I am sure it is one I would jump on. I havn't done it myself (and to avoid spoilers) a FC member mentioned the AST quests hint about another Job or at least one in the world, so perhaps?
Dancer Blue Mage and Mystic Knight, hands down wont get into specifics, but after playing RDM Im confident that they can pull through witthese jobs/
