Please solve the login pb

At the era of cloud computing and after moving to a new datacenter to have more power, how is it possible to wait 2.30 hours to log in a game in 2017? Please do something. You wait more than 2.30 hours to play 5m and crash for a directx error, or a worls saturated. Is it for that we are paying?

Well, you are on a world with more people than the server can hold. Which is why my FC transferred off Balmung as soon as they opened free transfers. There is a limit to capacity. Server power and storage only goes so far. network traffic is also involved.

"cloud computing" is a buzzword to make people think its something special. Its just normal servers clustered. Does you no good if you cant send 1gbit/s to a client pc 2k miles away.

That is a server problem. Balmung is known for having high population so your queue is to be expected. How exactly do you propose they fix the problem without crashing balmung

As much as I have said how bad the dev team has managed SB. This is not their fault to some degree. Balmung is just to huge. Also players afraid of the que refuse to get off. Also turn off directx11. Should they have worked on a better solution, yes. But his is launch type issues that are to be expected.

What they need to do is suspend the people who are accessing the Aetheryte menu, preventing them from being AFK-kicked. That would help with a lot of the queue problems, because these people are literally preventing themselves from being removed when they're idling.

This is why being in an overpopulated world sucks. I'm sticking to mid pop from now on.

I mean you're not missing much. For the third time this weekend I've been booted at the end of a duty (in 4 duty attempts!).

I'm paying with the knowledge that there may be service issues when the playerbase basically DDoS the login because everyone is an entitled ass. Doesn't help that half the player base tricks the afk timer with say, weighted controller stick in a private area. Then again I have experience with mmos and patience to realize early access is hype flooded.

If Balmung is over populated it is due to the quality! Anywhere you go, you feel as if the server was alive. all the discussion and the RP player around you. And the absence of those RMT nightmares makes it so nice. Answering the server is too full is not an answer, but a wrong excuse!

Then the queue issues you are suffering through right now are simply the price you pay for that quality.
