What happened to sidequests being added with every patch?

Is A Feast for Fools really the only sidequest that's being added?

When they first announced sidequests they said they were going to add more every patch. Now we get 1 new sidequest after two months of waiting? Seems pretty weak to me.

Yoshida: The first thing is that we're going to be adding new quests in almost every patch. We're going to put in more and more quests. That won't be something that will stop in the future. We will continue adding quests in patches from here on out.

Well, I guess he does say almost every patch. Oh well. That's the one thing I was looking forward to this patch.

Yeah it is very sad... did not keep his promise.

I wouldn't mind if the guy who developed side quests also developed the battle system or the market system, but he is not. he is just a guy doing no work.

This wasn't a content patch anyways?

Did we not get Grand Company quests?

There were GC quests added.

Keep in mind Yoshi P said there would also be the hidden quests, such as the garlean invasions and currently the cultists...

They do add quests every patch. If they only add one, they are fulfilling their promise. But for this patch they added one sidequest, six GC quests, and two secret quests.

That's not really enough to keep me interested in the game. I'm already bored of trying to get achievements. Let's hope 1.21 has way more content!

You have you do some digging beyond the city states to find some interesting quests...

If you become Sergeant in your GC, I believe that will be 2 quests, and fest of fools.

I wish their were more side quests, but they will essentially become fetch quests.
the few GC ones we do get have great cutscenes, and I think that is where their time is going,
