Those people are impatient fools.
Don't you get locked out of transferring for awhile after you do it?
Japanese players always takes priority over North America ones dude, just they way of the world with SE they did the same thing with FF11
Sharing the same world group with Gilgamesh and Balmung was a mistake
Half tempted to do this. If nothing's done by monday, i'll do it.
I'd do it tomorrow, but i have to work all day tomorrow.
I am actually willing to do this at this point...
is there any confirmation that it works in japan?
As someone on a Japanese server, this is NOT TRUE. Tonberry was having the same horrible issues with Raubahn. I think it's a bit better now, but that's more to do with our data center having less people than because they're ~prioritising Japanese players~. It's entirely down to how crowded your data center is.
I might actually be willing to do this even though it shouldn't be necessary. Is there maybe someone who's personally done it who can confirm? And are there any "new" JP servers that would qualify for a free transfer currently?
Our raubahn instance was broken, but we also made an orderly queue to deal with it. It worked for a little while. ATM there is a tiny trickle of people up to that instance so the congestion is not there anymore.
I hear that Masamune instances are totally broken. Tonberry instances seem just fine. Most people simply didnt waste time here and did many FATEs, PotD and PvP for the first 48 or so hours. (though PotD didnt work at first)
Getting into the game: The players in queue number tends to blink the exact same number about 5 times+ in a row then you move 100 places up in the queue. Night times the queue is 2000ish and takes 40mins-hour to get in. Low times queue is 300ish and takes 15-20mins to get in
90k's are a plague that people fear, last night i had a friend lose 2 PT members to an hour log back in queue so they went to bed ^^; In my small circle 5 people DCed (90k) last night in total.
That is all I can report from this side, or at least from my server onry.
Also we don't know the instance server ratio to players logged in. Japan could have more instance servers then NA. So these types of thread are? fear mongering? hate based? culturally biased? Not sure what they are trying to prove with out other info.
I am curious what the JP players are saying about all this. Do they have Raubahn memes too, making a uproar about it too?
It disgusts me that they're actually managing to profit even more off of this disaster lol
Doesn't NA and EU outnumber Japanese player base?
It's worth noting player distribution, Masamune shares a data center with Chocobo and Shinryu, the two most populated JP worlds. And though Tonberry is very populated, it's mostly on a center with fairly low pop worlds. (Even then, Chocobo only has about 12k active players, compared to Balmung's 18k and Gilgamesh's 15k! And those numbers are from before SB's release)
To anyone asking, apparently I've heard they've started forming lines to instances in the japanese servers, but I can't confirm this.
This thread is to tell people that other people are transferring to Japanese servers to get the MSQ done. Just an option for those with limited time. Did you read my original post? People in my fc are transferring to Tonberry to get the MSQ done.
A lot of people took time off work. If there is a supposed work around available to make the most of the game while they can, then here it is. Don't jump to ridiculous conclusions.
Well Japan has roughly half the US population, it's not surprising they are having less congestion than the US.
Well here's the thing... it's really up to people whether they want to or not. Not everyone has time. You could technically say it's enabling poor service, but people will do what they think is necessary for themselves.
That said, I've already removed my furniture from my apartment. I gave up my house months ago to prepare for a Kugane house. All I'm waiting fro right now is confirmation that this is working for a good lot of people, and if the problem isn't solved in the next 24 hours.
Voting with our wallets was a concept that went out the window when we pre-ordered SB.
No one could've seen this big of a disaster coming, we expected server load issues, and the like but not this level of insanity.
All we can do now is find ways to occupy ourselves till most likely the 20th.
Hiya all i'm from the Mana DC and i can say that in the first few 18hours of the early access launch we had the same issue as NA/EU. But after that people started to just take their time with the game and the issue with raubahn mysteriously disappeared...
Incase you are wondering nobody even bother to form a line in my server for raubahn and everyone just shouts yoshi-p's name in chat.
So basically it's smooth as butter now for Mana DC not sure about other DC though.
