90002 Connection Error - Unable to Log In

Yep - just like several others, I can't even log into the server, as I get a 90002 Connection Error. What'd I do to reach this point? I made the mistake in thinking I would have any chance at working on the Dark Knight job quest while Stormblood instancing was fixed.

Do I expect any response to this? Nah. I just don't have anything at the moment to do. Maybe I'll wash my car or my body or both at the same time.

Pro-Tip: Keep grinding Fate's or something - avoid instancing, avoid dungeon finder, avoid loading screen of all kinds.

Servers are down, there's nothing you can do. The problem isn't on your end.

We drop everything we made thru the time in our world and PAY again for service. Friends, housing and more. SE way of trying to fix things. Did you hired people from Ubisoft or Electronic Arts?


As for 90002. Again hours wait to get it after 5 minutes of play. At least Im not paying for this game. No wait, I actually do.

My final fantasy: experiencing a MMORPG launch that isn't plagued by login or disconnect issues. Someone email Elon Musk - maybe he has a solution.

Actually we pay to lease usage of the intellectual data, nobody owns software released post 2000 anymore, also we agree to these terms in order to log-in and on account creation. That said there are no guarantees of service reliability or stability, as it states in the ToS "as is" in ref to such things.

If you require an explanation and example that is more easily understood:
Software is a theme parks, we pay admission to visit and and use the facilities, if we are not pleased we don't buy another ticket and move on. We do not own nor can we legally claim ownership of any part, even additional items, used to enhance the experience are just rented, you cant take them with you. If you want to get more than a one-time usage you buy another ticket, if you feel so inclined you buy a season pass, both of which are non-refundable, even if at a later date yo decide you don't want to go back, or find the value isn't worth. Try to turn a profit by selling off unused and unwanted tickets, season passes or rental items and you are breaking the law and face legal retaliation: a fine, jail time and very much removal of access to said items.

crashed out with a 90006 in the Fringes doing a class quest. now I get 90002 every time I attempt to log in.

I didn't have problems doing my dailies; my difficulty comes in when I try accessing content I haven't before accessed (as opposed to new content, since one of the things that's booting me is The Limitless Blue (Hard)).

90002 and 90006 when trying to join pvp matches......... FIX YOUR SHITE!!!!!!

When i manage to get in, I am entering a class quest duty and time out with a server disconnected error 90006.

Same after finally loading into best served with cold steel, now i cant log into the game anymore

It will let you back in after how ever long the time limit for that instance is, as I had the same thing happen to me and let me back in exactly 30 minutes later. It must have something to do with the instance and the congested servers right now, to the point where it tries to log you back into the middle of the instance but can't because of the "stress", but I dunno.

I get a similar error, when I try to load a single player duty for the level 50 bard quest, loading screen freezes, crash out with a 90002 and then I can't log back in for 30+ min. Friend online says that I'm just stuck viewing a cinematic until it finally disconnects me.

Is there any way to force your character to log out?

Same issue across the board I am sure. Happening to me too on Balmung.
