Feels more like a fighting-against-chocobo piece.

And given I saw a chocobo participating in a battle in the demo, and that monsters are obtained for party-use via defeating them, I'm putting two and two together...

I really hate it, i wouldnt mind if it was some random remix on ocremix but this being official and maybe in game just ruins a lot for me, the atmosphere of chocos.

I liked Overworld in XI because it was a song played once, was new and not based on anything, so it didnt ruin anything.

That Theme is only in Chocobo Racing ( not heard much unless you plan on Chocobo Racing alot)

same thing really.. and there is 2 other Chocobo themes in the game that is really good Rodeo de Chocobo and Groovy Chocobo

Also, I really don't get all this hate over a single song that's just a obvious joke theme for a joke character. Yeah, the lyrics are ridiculous, but that's the point. They are meant to be ridiculous and goofy.

Not to mention the chocobo theme always get remixed in a different style since FFII. We've had from samba to jazz to wild west. Metal was going to happen sooner or later.

worth posting again.

Just when I thought the chocobo theme in XIII couldn't get worse (jazz theme), it proved me wrong in XIII-2. I just don't like the direction its going. its like ruining the chocobos innocents and giving them a bad attitude. Makes me wonder what are they smoking

Sorry, but I loved the Pulsian chocobo theme of XIII. It became my phone's ringtone for a good six months.

its not a remix, its a complete overhaul. I mean it doesn't sound close to anything that could be considered a chocobo theme. (except for the guitar part)

If you actually listen instead of what your hearing ( the top layer of the song) You would hear the Chocobo theme in there. there is no overhaul

regardless it sounds terrible in my ears. (imo). you cant deny the choco theme in ffxiii to be a overhaul, this however was borderline

Because, *dum dum dum*, it's not a true chocobo theme. It's a character theme and the character happens to be a chocobo, so the song retains the theme leitmotif

I did a quick research and discovered a pretty nifty thing: Crazy Chocobo was composed by Nobuo Uematsu.

This is ment for "only" Chocobo Racing, Rodeo de Chocobo is a Overworld Chocobo theme, I'm not such of Groovy Chocobo though.. people have this crazy mindset.. that if one theme is bad.. the whole OST is bad or the game sucks because of that one song ( that isn't going even be played much in the game unless your a hardcore Chocobo Racer...)

Alot better Yes I agree.. The more I listen to Crazy Chocobo.. the more I don't mind it.. just people write it off because its different.. and its ment to get people to get amped up to watch there Chocobo Dash to the Finish line in Chocobo Racing. but thats just me.

The music reminds me a lot of how X-2 turned out to be, very poppy.

Some of the other tracks on the XIII-2 sountrack are downright awful, Crazy Chocobo is the highlight of it. I can't decide if it's more awesome or ridiculous but either way it's amazing lol.

I know right? its stupid... They just have no life and just want to just put down everything just because it please them.. If they hate it.. why bash it to threads? FFXIV is no different in these forums sometimes... I don't know Earth anymore... :/
