So I've been trying to transfer to Omega but keep getting the same error after confirming.
My partner was able to transfer but one of my friends is also having the same issue.
What's the problem?

It worked for me an hour ago. There was a post that said the service wouldn't be back up until after 8pm PDT (6/16/17), but in reality the service was delayed until around 10:30pm PDT ... but it should now be working.
Just a note: moving to another server will not help you with instanced quests/dungeon issues.
I'm getting the same error. Anyone resolved this problem?

After waiting almost a day to transfer waiting even longer because of this error is getting really frustrating
Same issue here. Support is closed on weekends, apparently. All of my friends have managed to move with no problem from Hyperion to Omega but I keep getting this error no matter what I try...
Well at least some answer that they working on it would be cool. They wanted to solve overcrowded servers problem but like this,it seems the situation will remain
When you launch(or early access) over a weekend there is no way you can let support have closed during said weekend, it makes no sense and is incredibly unprofessional and I expected a lot more from a big company like S-E.
Now while I managed to get my transfer trough but my friends are still stuck in limbo so now I still can't play cause I've got no one to play with.
I've played at least a dozen MMO launches and early access and this is defiantly one of the worst handled ones and I'm loosing a lot of faith in S-E over this.
Just so you all know, I contacted Chat Support (sat in Queue for about an hour) and the CSR "escalated" my issue up to another team, but it will be next Wednesday at the earliest before they can resolve the issue. To say the least, this has been the WORST experience I've ever had in an MMO. One thing after another. I'm sure you all feel the pain as well. At minimum, I would suggest sending in an email to support with your issue, I highly doubt anyone will be looking at this thread any time soon. Even if they did, they wont be doing jack all to fix it through these threads.
Oh... Pity to hear but thx for info anyway (couldn't reach support via chat, just sent an e-mail).
Feels like it's time to say goodbye to my new house on Omega XD
P.S. Would be nice if S.E. will launch one (not one?) more new world considering such overload on existing ones...
Did you just select omega through the world transfer on migration? It doesn't even come up for me when selecting a world for transfering
Yep, selected with no problem today... Maybe 20 or 30 times, not remember already :p
Anyway, error appears on "Payment" step (PLEASE TAKE MY 0.00EUR ALREADY, DAMNED SYSTEM! XD)
My husband went on Omega we clicked at the same time on transfer. He made it through but not me. We are both separated and can't play together. Both decided to sotp playing the game until it's fixed as we wanted to discover everything together.
We are extremely sad...

My partner and I both woke up just for the reinstatement of the Transfer service, only to have it delayed [again], and when it was finally available... I was the only one who made it through. With so many people looking to transfer over to a different server/data center (for the sake of avoiding congestion), you'd think they'd try their best to fix it before Official SB Release... I guess not.
I can select Omega, but appearantly just 24 hours after it came live, it's 'full' and won't let me transfer.
This is rediculous...I'd move from Balmung in a flash, but I want to keep all my hard earned gil I saved up for a mansion.

I have already waited for almost a day for the re-opening of world transfer service, now I have to wait for a few days more because of this stupid error?
I can't even count how many times I tried to transfer my character, clicking here and there, only ended up on the same error page ._.
I have sent an email to them, I really hope they can fix this before the launch of Stormblood....but...(sigh
Right now is prime time in Europe, so the EU servers would be at their busiest.
Once people have reached level 30 I expect Omega's active population to go down quite a bit.
Personally I did not have any problem transferring one of my characters to Omega, but I might just have gotten lucky.

Suspicious activity has likely occurred on your account (different ISP, strange computers, strange browsers etc). You need to contact Square Enix support (recommended to use the phone option through the Mog Station) to get this sorted. You maybe required to to send scanned copy of documents to prove your identity which can take a while to process.
To prevent this from happening again in future, use Square Enix's one time password system.

Well it should be. Perhaps not the top priority but it should definitely be on their list of things to fix quickly. People have been looking to transfer to avoid congestion etc... World transfer re-opening was delayed by so long, yet they re-open it broken like this? -sigh-
So I managed to get into contact with support and they didn't do anything but escalate the problem. Said the team that does this is available from tomorrow on and when I asked when I'd get an answer back they were basically like 'dunno, 24-48 hours'. So I guess the only thing we can do is contact support and hope they actually fix this issue.... sigh.
Except, I use their one time password system. This is yet another example of SE having massive problems with their system and leaving a group of players out in the cold. I've seen bad launches before, but nothing of this scale from FFXIV. Maybe I just expect to much out of them, but the fact that not one dev, not one GM has responded to this thread is disconcerting.
Tomorrow, when I contact the support via chat (since apparently EU accounts are only allowed to Chat with EU support, which never works during weekends [because obviously no one would ever need support during the weekend]), I guess I'll link them to the thread, see if this sparks any...well, anything.
We thought perhaps waiting a whole day after the last attempt to transfer would help, but nope.

As i mentioned in some other threads, i was just able to login. Either they fixed something, everyone left or there are few hours of waiting time after successful transfer.
Lucky you, people getting the i2501 are still unable to even complete the Transfer. :/
After linking the Chat support to this thread, they said they are "aware of the issue" and are "investigating" it... Not sure how long they will be "investigating" for or if they actually are, but meh...They were like "You can still play on the old world until the Transfer is done" ... Sure, but my bud (who's the one stuck in the "old" world) can't play with me because of that, and we want to progress together. Duh.
But I'm glad to hear at least some people are now able to get in-game and play, good luck to you (hopefully you won't meet any other issues)!
We're also stuck my partner and I, one in a different world from the other. Made things so hectic to the point it affects us IRL between eachothers... The harm is real... And the lack of infos/corrections grows

Uhh, anyone had problems with the transfer without getting an error? My brother tried to transfer today to omega after me and got the "Purchase Complete" email, however after that nothing. My transfer took only 5 minutes, it's been ~6 since that email...
He'll contact support tomorrow if it still isn't done, but this is stressful :/
At each post I understand that this happens mostly if not only to poeple that has partners in game. They are acting overly necessary for poeple that transfer from the same ip or something....
Congratz, Omega server is now closed to transfer because overpopulated. Thank you Square Enix for separating couples and families in game.
