When to will we get more specific information on Transfers!

Asking for a friend and myself somewhat about when does everyone expect us to get the full details on the transfers to designated worlds and all the incentives? In the older post from few weeks ago it was stated all datacenters to designated servers but we don't have the exact specifics and it kinda sucks not knowing every detail atm.

Coeurl, Zelara, Goblin, and Mateus are the designated servers with low population on the aether data center. It's posted on the lodestone.

I suspect when you log into Mogstation and do the server transfer steps you'll see which world are designated servers. I'm sure that info will be up shortly after launch and when Mogstation is out of maintenance.

Edit: Aww... I was hoping to transfer to Siren. Does one know if it's free to transfer to any server?

I know where I'm transferring to. Got my imports ready, scouted the housing. I created 3 scouts on Zelara/Goblin/Mateus in advance. Coeurl came out of the left field.

Turned for reply, I'm on leviathan now and few friends on faerie and one on Gilgamesh wanting to transfer out and we are all wanting to be on same datacenter so we can at least seek out datacenter party finder and run stuff. Any ideas on the more attractive free server?

Any of the 4 are pretty much the same. I would suggest making a burner alt for Omega to grind to 30 in order to get a free 15 days play time. You could just give away the million gil for fun too.

I heard good things Coeurl in past when I was on midgardsormr and balmung, I wasn't on balmung for the rp, they have a great top notch PvP linkshell lol!

I was on since I played Beta and Besaid -> Balmung at launch. No available housing is getting old though. I want my house, and now I get a free mount for transferring too!

Let's just hope more than just congested servers players can transfer.

It is free to transfer to Omega (the new EU server) from any world. It is free to transfer from Gilgamesh or Balmung only to designated worlds of Coeurl, Zelara, Goblin, or Mateus. There are some incentives to transfer or start a new character on any of the designated worlds, but the free transfers are limited to the aforementioned restrictions.

Thank you. I was waiting to transfer from Gilgamesh to Siren until I had more information. I'll get to it at some point this week. My main is on Siren and this alt with be joining her there. I have more than one toon on Gilgamesh and the others will be staying there.

The beginning of Early Access marks the opening of Omega, the new World on the Chaos data center (EUDC).

In addition to this new world and the preemptive measures mentioned in Preventing Congestion on High Population Worlds, we have also begun a number of bonus incentives to coincide with Early Access. These measures and bonuses have been implemented to encourage an even distribution of active players across all Worlds, and ensure an enjoyable player experience.

Current Status of High Population/Designated Worlds

The current status of each World with regards to the new population distribution incentives can be checked here.

After assessing the number of active players, Carbuncle has had its status changed to "high population." Character creation on Carbuncle as well as transfers to this World have been suspended until congestion issues have been resolved.

Please note that Worlds that have not been listed as "high population" may also experience temporary suspensions on character creation during peak times or especially congested time periods.
Character Creation Bonuses on New Worlds

Creating a new character on a newly established World will earn you the bonuses outlined below.

These incentives will remain in place until the active player population of a new World has shown sufficient growth. Please note that once a World has been removed from the "New World" category, the EXP bonus will no longer be applied.
Bonuses awarded at character creation

Double EXP bonus (until level 60 is reached)
Gift of 10 silver chocobo feathers, exchangeable for low-mid level gear to improve the leveling experience

Bonuses for characters created during bonus period that attain level 30 in any class

Gift of 1,000,000 gil（*1）
Gift of 15 days of free play time（*2）

*1　Limited to once per data center on a single service account.
*2　Limited to once per service account when creating a new character on either a new or designated World.

Characters created on newly established Worlds during the bonus period will be restricted from using the World transfer service for 90 days.

Players with pre-existing characters on new Worlds are still eligible to receive these bonuses for new characters created after the bonus period has begun. All new characters beyond the first created will also receive any bonuses not specifically restricted as one-time only incentives.
Bonuses for Transferring to New Worlds

Transferring to a new World will earn you the bonuses outlined below.

These bonuses will remain in effect until the population of active players in the World in question has grown to a specified number.
World transfer bonuses

Transfer is free of charge
Maximum amount of gil that can be transferred increased to 999,999,999
Gift of 10 gold chocobo feathers, exchangeable for special rewards such as rare mounts

Bonuses for owners of personal housing/apartments

Personal housing
Reimbursement for the full price of the estate, plus compensation of 3,000,000 gil for non-recoverable furnishings

Please apply for a World transfer after removing your estate hall and furnishings, but DO NOT relinquish the land. If you have relinquished the deed to your plot, you will not be eligible to receive the bonuses outlined above.
Apartments
Reimbursement of the 500,000 gil price, and compensation of 500,000 gil for non-recoverable furnishings

Please apply for a World transfer after removing your furnishings, but DO NOT vacate the apartment. If you have relinquished the rights to your property, you will not be eligible to receive the bonuses outlined above.

* Any gil above the maximum of 999,999,999 will be lost.

Characters that have transferred to a new World during the bonus period will be restricted from using the World transfer service for 90 days.
