Edit - Correction. Initial patch is 2.56 Gb. I assume there's more to download after.

The icon changed on ps4, but when I try to go back in the app it says "cannot start application (CE-30022-7)" so I guess ill have to wait

Also getting this? Seems to be connected to licenses, which is odd, since I updated it earlier today.

I'm getting an unable to complete version check error when trying to log into the game. I did get the launcher update though. I hope this resolves quickly.

Mine is downloading now after restarting my PS4 a few times. I guess they just weren't ready for the download. It's a 2163.48 MB download.

Keep trying. It's a common issue when there's so many people trying to DL. I got it 3 times before it resolved.

I've completed a 2.5G download and when I restarted the launcher a 2nd 3.6G download started up.

I'm not getting a part 2 on PSN. I suspect you're on windows?

Edit: I'm getting a part 2 download now. It's an additional 3288.76 MB's.

My launcher tells me that I haven't installed Heavensward (even though I just played it last night) and asks me to download it. Is anybody else getting that message as well?

It did that to me at first. Selecting either Yes or No to download Heavensward resulted in the launcher complaining about mismatching version numbers among the launcher, game, etc. Normally I let WTFast launch the game for me, so I tried running it directly from my Steam library, after which it worked fine. It could just be coincidence, though, in which case all I can suggest is keep trying.

Try it again. I got that when UI restarted after the launcher update. After waiting a few minutes I started the launcher again and the download started. I don't know if it's server load or a timing issue but it shouldn't have broken anything.

It probably depends on when you downloaded as they became available at different times. One is more than likely the patch - for all players, system changes etc that effect the entire game. The other is SB itself which only players that have SB will get.

Same issue for me, CE-30022-7 weird thing is, I live with my girlfriends family's and hers and her brothers load up the launcher no issues at all (Sept reading the patch notes says there's a psn issue or something). Not mine tho.

I confirm the above, which worked for me.
Currently DLing the second patch, 3.3 GB, on PS4.

If you're on PS4 and getting errors, you can try to set your DNS (under Settings > Network > Set up Internet connection) to either Google's servers:

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

Or Open DNS servers:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

And see if that helps!
