I wouldn't. Most everyone going to hit the raids and capped tomestones at the same time, so there isn't much of a point trying to race to the end.

I will no life the sh*t out of it.

I am taking time off, but i won't be racing to the finish. I'll take my time going through the MSQ, while getting reacquainted with my PLD, WHM and BRD. I think i'll need quite a bit of practice in order to "Master" those jobs again.

I took off Friday and the whole following week. I did the same for Heavensward and never regretted it. There were times the servers were having some issues or down for maint but I just took a nap or went out for food. But my husband also had it off last time so it was all a shared experience. This time he has to work.

Oh, my hurry is nonexistent. I'll even be leveling multiple jobs to the cap simultaneously. If I'm 70 and geared on all five planned jobs by the time 4.1 comes out, I'll consider myself lucky.

I won't, I'll play it during my weekend. I'd have to take Friday and Saturday off to make it worth wild.

I won't either. I'd prefer to let the pros get into it first then wait for the tutorials and dungeon instruction videos to come out, but that just me.

Going on holiday with my family and going to see a friend during the summer, I won't have any opportunity to really play it until a month after release.

Not that I mind, will give me something to look forward to when my holidays are over.

Booked it off the moment the dates were confirmed as well as the following week :D

I took Friday off. Mostly because I will be playing with my best friend who lives in Japan. EA starts about the time we both game together so why not? I work the rest of the weekend and then i got Monday/Tuesday off to play almost all day.

I had a dental cleaning I already rescheduled... when I booked it a few months ago I had no idea it would line up with EA. I'm sure another month will be fine~

If you can afford too take the time off it may be fun, expansions don't happen often!

Works slow, I have time, so I asked the boss for a mental health day. All I want to do is fix hotbars and fiddle around on RDM. Figured why not

I was going to but three other people at my work already requested the 16 though 20 off..coincidence? I think not!

My normal days off just happened to fall on the 16th and 17th, so I am using 2 vacation days for the 18th and 19th as well :3

No one mentioning the strong possibility of maintenance? There is going to be emergency downtime at some point during the early access, I can almost bet on it.

Maybe I'm just old, but I learned a long time ago that when you take time off for new releases, you'll just be bored when you inevitably can't play. Now, if I'm playing the game all night long, and have to call in absent the next day, that's a different story. ;)

Don't plan too far ahead, or you'll be more disappointed if it doesn't work out. Then you'll be here posting, "I took the day off but couldn't play, how dare the game not be running flawlessly at launch!"

I took the whole week off for stormblood. So if not Friday then Saturday :D. I don't care if it will be down for a little. Perhaps that will be good time to replenish your food supplies xD.

I won't be taking Friday off as early access doesn't start until 6PM JST. I will be leaving work early (I normally don't leave until after 6 and want to be home for the start). I am going to be taking Monday off and possibly Tuesday off though.

Took Friday and Saturday off so I can dive into it and explore, before having to focus on school Sunday and Monday :/

I'm using my paid vacation time to take off the entire month of June starting from the 16th. Two weeks of nonstop stormblood action. =o

I did, but thats cause even if the servers end up down all day I can finally try out the Automata dlc I haven't been doing.

I'm saving asking for days off until they announce the day they're dropping housing. im planning on getting one for myself and a new one for the FC.

I've taken day off but i'm not gonna rush new content but unlocking new classes and maybe make some gil as I hope market will flowing again with new people and such

No. There will be so many people trying to log in...i really shouldn't have to explain what happens then.

I'm certainly taking it off, hahaha. The joy of being a freelancer is that I only need my own permission, and I very much agree with myself that SB comes first and foremost

My holiday leave actually fell at the start of this week and ends at the start of the coming one, so I do have EA off at least....but, we are having our electrics done at the same time :/

I'm currently working too short staffed in the medical centre for me to take time off but I suppose it doesnt matter I'm in no huge rush to wear the content out so fast.
