I seem to be noticing a lot more trolls on the EU servers lately. I'm curious if this is just my luck or is this happening to more people? Please give me feedback if this is not happening on other data centers, because transferring it not out of the question for us. I just want to be able to enjoy the game like everyone else =(
What excatly do you mean by that? I'm asking because I hadnt such bad experiences lately?
Before you consider moving I would also consider waiting for SB - some of those people might actually be bored because of, well, nothing to do before expansion...
Well, generally it does seem like people getting bored and being trolls. Going into dungeons and pulling everything and dying repeatedly. Not playing their jobs (ex. Healer doesn't actual heal anyone but themselves), and just being jerks in general. While I understand some people have gotten bored, it's not right for them to ruin a game for the rest of the community that has things they're trying to accomplish before SB. I've always run into these types of people, but it seems to be a daily now as we approach SB and I'm curious if the same types of behavior is going on with NA data centers or is just special to the EU?
In my opinion it's because we're in the pre-expansion lull right now. Most veteran players are on breaks until SB, and there's a big influx of new players. All I've really noticed on the NA servers is a huge lack of f***s to give from other players. I imagine you'll see less of it when SB hits and more serious players are back on.
never noticed any trolling on df dungeons, maibe you have bad luck?
Only 'trolling' I've really seen are idiots who manage to get to 60 in a soulstoneless class, aka the conjurers I've been seeing, with full tank accessories in A12 DF groups
Otherwise I've been doing side stuff to finish my prep for 4.0, but I h ave been seeing stuff of people getting REALLY dumb lately.
If you are being trolled, repor them for harrassment. They are ruining your experience, it's a valid reason.
I have not experienced any trolling.
Not had any problems. But there are a lot of returners at the moment who might not fully remember how to play this game properly; the population on my tiny server has absolutely ballooned over the last week or so.
No troll for me, must be really unlucky. o/
I did not experience any kind of trolling so far.
I do have had experience like the whm with half my hp/mp (we were both healer) going to pull-ga a group of mob trying to survive, doing some crazy stuff useless, he was new tho (atleast he has the greens petals flag).
There's different ways of trolling your going to be a bit more specific on that. I have come across the following;
Inappropriate behavior ( bashing , refusing to co operate, being rude for fun. )
Tank queues in an doesn't act.
Gill sellers
Auto kicking people near end of run for using Need command
and the list goes on and on and on.
just sue them and take their lunch money. Court will settle all things.
I would not call it trolling, more so bad play but that has to do with the time more then one data center. One of my friends could not find a successful PF for a9s/a10s recently and a different friend a few days ago over last weekend was kick abused by a poorly played PLD/BRD pair because she took hate from the tank using quelling strikes and the pair kept demanding her to stop DPS completely.
Meaning just expect skill levels be lower over weekends and near end patch, and when both meet up like last weekend.. eugh.
Hmm? Myself see very rare "troll" or rude EU players.
But, I played WoW. They are worst trolling than FFXIV
I just came back from a 1 year hiatus 2 weeks ago, and i bruteforced trough content to get myself to ilvl 245 as fast as possible, so i can do every duty atleast once, before going into Stormblood. I had no problems with trolls in any runs, the only problem i had was, that there are some really weird people in potd, when i gueue up for it at night.
Had a SCH in Final Steps of Faith for Trial Roulette last week who pulled the boss (no buffs)then proceeded to just stand there getting hit by anything that appeared until they died. They refused to take any raises given and said nothing. We wiped and they did the same again. This time we won with me solo healing and after we won they just said "GG noobs XD" and left. I reported them but I doubt they'll learn from anything.
