Preorder/full registration code question

So I got my early access code and redeemed that, When do the full game registration codes go out? I just assume during early access at some point but...I've not been here to preorder an expansion before so I have no idea. Hence why I am asking.

Depends on where you bought it from but codes should go out just after early access and before full release.

Assuming that you pre-ordered from the SE Store, these are the steps you will go through.

1) Pre-order the game on the SE Store. Your credit card won't be billed at this point.

2) They send you a pre-order code.

3) Go to https://redeem.finalfantasyxiv.com/na and log in using your MogStation account. Register the pre-order code and choose the appropriate platform. You will unlock your pre-order bonuses.

4) The website will then give you an Early Access code.

5) Register the Early Access code on the MogStation to unlock Early Access. You will now unlock Early Access.

This is the final step you can do before the official release day.

6) When the game is officially released, your credit card will be billed.

7) You will then get the Stormblood game code. Register the code on the MogStation to officially get the full expansion on your account.

I hope this clears everything up. You will get 3 codes in total. Pre-order code, Early Access code and finally the Stormblood code itself.

Additionally, you can force the SE store to bill your credit card right away instead of waiting for the Official Release. Just log on to your SE Store account and under your orders, there will be an option to "bill right now". You will be billed right away but you will still only get the full Stormblood code on the official release day.

That clears it up then, I was just worried as I've never been here for this before so yeah...lol I got billed yesterday so it's just a waiting game then.

square just sent me an email telling me they billed me for the PC download but the code they gave me is the same one i used to activate the early release >.>

If you ordered the physical version then it should be in the game box

I ordered digital download.

You'll get the code on the 20th

will the full game code be emailed to your mogstation/square enix registered email or from an email registered to whenever website/reseller site you bought from?

I'm still waiting to be billed..I wonder what is going on.

If you go into your Square Enix account and click on Your Order > click manage on the Stormblood order, there will be an option to push payment through now rather then waiting for them to bill you.

I bought my game from the SE store (digital), got a code which I redeemed and got another code to use in the mogstation. On friday, june 9th I got billed and recieved the same code I got when I pre-ordered. So I assume the code I got then, and the code I got for the mogstation was the full game code with the pre-order bonus.

Already got the 1st redeem code, and redeemed it to get early access code at mogstation: now the account has early access status.

SE sent a mail stated that SB will be charged on Friday 9th(already passed), but you can press "pay now" to debit it off the card, which I did and already receive a confirming mail as well as the message from bank that SE is already paid.

Since nothing happened after that, no code sent, I can only assume that the code will be sent to email on sometimes around 19-20 or something.

So basically once early access has ended, we won't be able to play anymore unless we enter that full registration code? Perfect...

There's several days grace period to give people time to receive the codes and enter them.

I actually followed up and sent a ticket asking, they told me we'd get the code closer to full release, so during EA the registration code will be sent out.
