In one of those show your character threads, there was this one super hot shirtless highlander that was literally the most gorgous male character I'd ever seen in this game a while back. Alot of people liked his character. His wife made it for him, I think. He looked stunning in the rain and wish he was my retainer~ -u-

I think Highlanders often look better than Midlanders. They have a stronger facial structure. I think mine looks quite good (although this is an old pic).

The problem with Highlanders is that most associate "good looking" ones with one face type. IMO, that's because Square intended for them to look rugged, rough around the edges, and the face type most gravitate towards is the anomaly. Elezen Males also have a very boyish looking face model which isn't well received by the masses, and male miqotes as well (except that one is used more than the Elezen counterpart). I personally think Highlander has a niche that the community doesn't fit with, and the one that's used throughout this thread is the closest to our standards.

The only thing I don't like about Highlanders is that they have no eyebrows lol. You have to add it as a makeup option, which you can see I did in my post above.

I think the fact that almost all of us here are sporting the same face and hair does say something. AkashiXI has the right of it, though, as far as I'm concerned. And yes, please, give us actual eyebrows.

I love how highlander males look ...they just really need real eyebrows, then they'd be perfect! I'm also in favor of more face options (for all races).

You can make one of the ugliest looking humans in the game with Highlanders...

Or you can spend a bit playing with the different options and get something unique and really cool looking.

I've been playing a Highlander since I started playing, and not only does my character stand out like a sore thumb (in a good way), I think he's really cool looking to boot. The cool thing about Highlanders? If you set them up right, they actually look like men.

I wont lie.. I SOOOOOOOOO wanted to be a highlander male hume.. It's just all their face options suck.. It would be nice if they added gladio. I second the suggestion! Just because they are bigger and stronger doesnt mean they have to look like ugly brutes.. I havent seen a single highland male hume face that I have liked,, The female highlanders on the other hand.. Very beautiful.

I have always taken it in stride, i wanted my character to look more mature and some what experienced. In that hope i kept him clean shaven and showing signs of age through his hair. These few things have helped keep him rather unique, even though he uses the same face 95% of the male Highlander player base uses. He may not be the most handsome, but that wasn't the intent any way.

To me this is the better face option. I think people don't use it due to the facial hair, but it really seems superior to me. I can't get past the giant, pointy nose and squinty eyes of the generic face people tend to use.

In a way kings hair is basically like gladio's. Literally one of my favorite hairstyles to be included into the game thus far. Had to get a haircut for the husband, but I might just go back to it anyway... :rolleyes:
