Where is the Far Eastern promotion for the rest of Europe?

Or am I mistaken and we were we all supposed to import German Dr.pepper?

And I'm certain the next JP 7-eleven promotion will be rearing it's ugly head any moment now.

Do you really want another promo? With all the mess they produced in the past?
People in Germany still struggling to get some of these Dr. Pepper cans.
Other people haven't even got the items from the first Event (Maid, Butler outfit).
Seriously, I hope they put the Items into the Mog-Station for the rest of Europe.
This Company does not know how to run a proper Promotion.

As a German who could try to hunt down Dr Pepper cans for the items I'd have to agree with just putting the items on the mog station already.
These staggered promotions are a mess with people unsure when their corner of Europe will get a promotion, if at all, and through what hoops they'll have to jump.
It would've been one thing if all of Europe got their promotions at the same time or at least could expect to have all promotions be roughly the same.
Neither of these are the case as shown by the Dr Pepper promo for Germany, the O2 promo for UK suddenly bringing back the maid and butler outfit when everyone expects to hear more about the Journey to the West inspired items and the deafening silence for the rest of Europe.

I seriously don't get why we couldn't have gotten an Amazon promotion for all of Europe, they are dealing with most of Europe are they not?

Just put the items on the mog station or give us a date when they will be available on the mog station if you want to wait for the promotions to run their course, it would end the uncertainty and give people some peace of mind. "Soon" is not going to cut it.

Sorry but no, I don't want a consolation price of being allowed to spend money on items (for one character only) that other players are getting for free (account wide) just because of their location. They should attempt to bring a campaign to as many countries as possible. And for the love of The Twelve, get to modern day and make promotions with online stores like Amazon.

Give it to us on Amazon like you did last year on Amazon.fr!
If you could do it then, then you can do it again. Apparently no law stopped you then, even tho I read from many that "oh it's the laws in Europe stopping them from doing an Amazon promo". Stop being so mean to Europe!

tbh after the mess of the UK one last time, just slap it on the mog station :/ it would be far better and easier then what ever concoction they come up with, if it is another game master event i am just going to chalk it all up to i aint ever getting anything maid butler (i dont have a O2 sub) or the cloud mount :/

This. Lets be real, if it comes to mog station it will be under the same price tag but only per character rather then account wide.

Please dont encourage them to just not do a promotion, like this person said, they should be trying their hardest to put a promotion out in as many countries as they can.

But what happens if they f*ck it up, like what they did with the maid/butler promotions? If they are unable to do it, then I rather they just put it in the Mog Station, then ignore the rest again. I want to enter the promotion event like Reinha, but after last year, I rather get my items asap and move on.

I'd rather they do the event, have the chance of f*cking it up, THEN put it on the mogstation, which is exactly what they are doing.

Nobody is getting the items for free. They all have to buy some stuff, either from Amazon, drinks or useless Magazines.
And if they put the Items in the Mog-Station they better make the Items Account-wide as they are from the promo.

I wouldn't like that, as the Netherlands don't have their own Amazon and we're not exactly a poor country or anything. xP

But yeah, the scattered promo's aren't very good. Here in the NL our primary gaming magazine started with the promo's but cut off after one issue. I'm not sure why (and frankly, I think they made a bad business decision on that one), but it left us with only being able to get the Ifrit mask and aetheryte tickets... yaaaaay. xD

I think the problem we're having is that SE is approaching this with "it's many different countries" in their mindset, while in the game we guys playing on EU don't really have or consider geographical borders much of a thing. I am sure it's a bit more complicated than that as they're probably dealing with bureaucracy of the individual countries. Still I think SE should see if they can keep the earlier mentioned aspect in mind because if they keep releasing localised promo's like this, they're kinda helping in highlighting differences between EU players, rather than fostering unity. The "us vs them" feelings, petty as they may be, will have something to latch onto so to speak.

lol good luck Oh'boy! until now most stores dosent have this dr peppers cans with the FF14 promo.
its nearly impossible to find a store that has dr pepper cans with the FF14 promo, all the stores carry only the old cans without the promo but nobody drinks dr pepper in german, so the stores says until our old can not sold we dont order new one. xD

If you buy a product at its normal price and get digital items as a bonus, those digital items are a freebie. I paid 20 € for a Steam currency card (20 € value) to get the maid outfit, then I got to spend those 20 € again on Steam. That means I didn't spend any money on the actual maid outfit. That's different than spending money on Mog Station where you get no other goods, would you not agree? I would even be happy with buying Dr. Pepper or ordering something from Amazon but there is no promotion in my country yet.

Maybe I'm a little bit slow. To me it sounds like as if you wouldn't have paid money to get any of these Items, you wouldn't have had a chance to get these Items.
So in my opinion they are far from " for free". To me the Items would be for free if we could get them Ingame from an Event for example.
Anyway. I do not deny other people to have the chance to take part in the promotion.
I just don't get it why you would like to get them from the Promo. I can understand why people wanted the Lightning Event to get the Lightning stuff. Because they (and myself) could have had the chance to meet Lightning in FFXIV.
But a Promo where you have to buy junk to get cool Items....
Like I said, I don't get it.

Well if you only had to buy something from Amazon that you already wanted and got it as an extra it kinda was for free. But with the Dr. Pepper campaign (as an example) you need to buy 24 cans of a drink that lots of people dont even drink. At least after reading in the big thread, it seems that lots of supermarkets dont stock on it or are not selling it that often. (I never heard them before that campaign) So if you need to buy something that you dont even plan to use or do not even like then its not truly for free because you are only buying it for the codes. Also if its not something you can buy online you will have to go around to find it too. This costs even more time and money.

So them being in the mog station would at least make this a simple buy. Heck since its digital only they could then make it cheaper. The problem IMO is, that nobody truly knows if there is ever a campaign for them or if all of the items will truly be in the mogry station. (And when)

I'm with O2 and can do the UK promotion, thankfully. However at first glance, it doesn't look bad. I think all you have to do is order a free pay as you go sim card. Top up only £5 to activate it(could be £10), then forget about it. Pretty sure that's better than future mog station.

It's horrible. Still nothing else for EU people, and others are reselling the codes for over 130€+ on Ebay.

The bad thing about Mog Station is that they'll release it late, maybe in a year, sadly.

If the mount+outfit is 20€ on the Mog Station, and a promotion offers the items along with 20€ worth of Dr. Pepper (which I drink), which one is a better deal? I don't get what is difficult to understand about that. Everything I've said has been in reference to people thinking that promotions should be stopped and thus that option denied from everyone whose country hasn't had one yet. Stopping promotions accomplishes nothing because them and Mog Station are not mutually exclusive. Further promotions will have zero impact on the people who can't or don't want to utilize them, because we already know the items will be sold on the Mog Station.

Well the problem with the quote: they are only talking about the new ingame items thus we dont know if the butler and maid set will come to the mog station. So it would be nice to get an official response on that because people already waited enough time to get their hands on those items. (Yet somehow they suddenly introduce the old items in a new UK campaign. So does that mean they will get more campaigns for those items too? Or are people going to wait for nothing again?)

the event in germany was kinda crappy, it took me 3 weeks and shitloads of stores to find those cans, mostly I found non event cans or cans with even older events on them (lol)

I gave up on waiting and paid a FC member to drink 24 cans of sugar at my expense and send me the keys. Since he didn't charge me for the deposit I paid around 22€ which was close enough to my estimate of the Mogstation price to give up the faint hope of a (somewhat decent) promotion popping up in another part of Europe.
I got my (account wide) cloud, he got a free sugar shock. Everyone who doesn't know people in Germany who drink the stuff (and have stores that actually sell the promotion cans) still loses.

I mean, I had to buy a huge number of bottles of water I did not need... the 7-11 promotions are not particularly great. I would probably have preferred to buy it on mogstation for slightly cheaper. The amazon promotion seemed the best to me, at least you could choose to buy stuff you actually wanted.
