I Love All the Changes

Thank you Yoshi and all the employees working on FFXIV! I love all the changes to combat and I am so excited to explore 4.0! You guys made great decisions with the new battle systems and creative changes!

I'm going to miss bloodbath + vengeance on warrior... but I may never notice it because I'm too busy tanking on pld or just blowing stuff up as blm. Samurai looks like it will be fun to play around as... Redmage I have some misgivings about but I won't know one way or the other until I can try it myself.

I am looking forward to playing healer a bit more, though... cleric stance stressed me out quite a bit but with it being relegated to a subpar offensive cooldown I may be able to heal without as much anxiety moving forward.

Not sure what to make of the changes to DRG... the random nature of Fang & Claw/Wheeling Thrust doesn't seem to have been changed, but not having the hairline balance of blood of the dragon/geirskogull could make it more enjoyable.

I never enjoyed summoner enough to weigh in on whether these changes seem negative or positive... It's possible with one less dot to keep track of I may play it more, but I never enjoyed it more than blm and I don't think that's going to change.

All in all the changes make me excited to try out everything new, though some of the changes make me think I might enjoy some of my preferred jobs a bit less, but my favorite job looks like it will be a lot less annoying to play.

I love the Majority of the Changes.

These changes are good because this will give everyone the opportunity to REALLY learn their skills; we're pretty much starting all over again with this new combat system. I currently main BRD because it's quite easy to understand and master; however with these new changes, my job is really going to test me on how well I can manage my songs plus using certain skills to whichever song I play. Besides BRD, there's NIN and yep, I'm lvling RDM, so there's a lot to learn. It's going to be challenging yet it'll be fun, bring it Stormblood!

The changes look fantastic. It will be exciting to experience them come June 20th.

There are going to be so many red mages and samurai. Hahaha!

I'm in love with the PLD changes, my only question is if Divine Veil actually buffs the PLD too or if its the same?

Still not 100% on RDM just yet, I need to get my hands on it to better tell for myself.

The rest? IDGAD for my use. Don't really plan on picking up DRG or AST again, and I don't care about any of the other jobs.

I'm really excited about the changes and feel good about relearning the jobs. I am a little worried that the overall meta of the encounters will stay the same and jobs that are geared more toward defense will continue to be undesirable in party builds.

I love most of the changes. WHM got shafted, though. Possibly others, too, but as WHM is my main (and only job at 60), I'm obviously a bit more focused on it.

Give me back my dots.

Same here. Everything looked great to me. I'd like to see if there are any crafting/gathering changes, but I guess everyone is too busy beating stuff with sticks and pointy things.

As a PLD I almost don't even want to play the game at the minute. I mean, how am I suppose to live 2 and a half weeks without all those awesome new things we get?! *re-watches a few videos and drools as I do*

The BRD/MCH changes look fantastic. They've incorporated a lot of design choices we've been asking for... I'm really interested in trying it out.
