What happened in game?

I was return from many months.

Visited in Limsa Lominsa, Gridania and Ul'dah.
Noticed players/bots started annoying spams in my chat about gold/real money....

Never happen before year ago.

I did many blacklists them... How I can make "stop" this spams on my chat?

Blacklist them and report them as an RMT by clicking on their names.

Remove "say" chat from your default tab. You do it from character preferences.

Where there are lazy players, there will always be Gold, Credit, Gill sellers to give these people a Pay 2 Win option that is why most of the best gear is locked behind a token system to try an counter their spamming and profit from fake currency. The blacklist is expanding daily for me as I walk into a normal city. I think that is why Idyllshire is the most popular place for players to be sat around.

They've started doing this because, ( if I remember correctly ), new players are now blocked from sending /tells to prevent the /tell spam that was happening before. We also have a right click Report as RMT option ( right-click their name in the chat ) the GMs are pretty quick to check the logs and remove them.

The only way to completely remove them from your personal chat is to set up a seperate chat channel in your chat menu ( or edit your current one )

Click the add new tab menu and in your new tab put your FC, Linkshells, Party, Anything else you want but don't include.. Say, Yell, or Shout ( not seen them do this yet but the spam bots were incredibly rare on Gilgamesh ). Just make sure you still have them on another tab to see if someone is trying to talk to you in /say occasionally or what not :)

We need a marketboard is Idyllshire and all the future end game cities, where bots cannot reach upon leveling and we can relax in peace.

Nah, the RMT will just use Jump Potions to get there too.

The only way to completely stop seeing the bot spam is not going to the starter cities :P

What can SE do to counter this properly, the only reason I can see people buying Gil from these people is the following;

- Lazy crafters wanting to buy Mats
- Buying an House or FC Hall
- Buying Glamour and Minions

What could SE do to solve this

- Have a Token system for house purchasing, you would acquire these token similar to how you do the anima weapon now by trading "market prohibited" items to them. Depending on size of the house determines how many tokens would be required. The FC Hall would be cost more but all FC members could interact with the NPC and the currency would show up in the FC window like the coins do now.

- Crafting Mats, there isn't anything we can realistically do here because by the nature they are a trade-able commodity, same with the Minions and Glamour I guess.

But by taking away the single most largest purchase players will make in game the sale of Gil for real money could take a nose dive

This has been happening forever. It's at the point where my mind just glosses over it and pretends it doesn't exist without me realizing it.

With the price of those, enough Jumps to get to Idyll would cost about as much as the whole game.
