Whats this? Ping related or framerate? What?
Ya. I can't handle single target doton too.
But serious why is it doing that?
I was just about to ask if anyone was having issues on ps4. Today was the first day I logged on and tried to run a dungeon. The lag is so bad. My actions aren't going off. It was nearly impossible to keep the tank alive. This is upsetting. suggestions on how to fix this?
I've seen quite a few people having this issue now on PS4 due to ping increase.
I feel a bit more lag tonight on PS4 specially on my SMN opener.
Hope for mods admins and yoship push forward the transfer and no Gil restrictions before SB
I play on PS4, but I haven't had any issue, or at least nothing noticeable.
I'm on PS4 and this used to be the norm for me. Since they moved the servers I haven't had the same issue. And I'm in Kansas. The distance from where the old ones were at is about the same as where they are now.
Yes lets remove about half the player base and kill the game O.o
PS4 here, No issues.. & Considering literally 1/2 the entire playerbase is on PS4? it'd kill the game lol
I restarted my ps4 and moved the router downstairs and plugged it into the ps4. It is much better now.
Seriously, enough "cry wolf" threads already.
I know it's roughly a month before the expansion, but if you're THAT bored you feel compelled to make asinine threads over and over on an issue that's well known at this point but isn't going to get fixed yesterday, just go play or do something else for now. It's a problem, yes. It will get fixed, yes. Right now? Like RIGHT now? No.
Calm down.
LOL I play on ps4 and I've never seen that before.
I see that sometimes when my ISP is being an absolute turd. Not usually an issue with the game itself.
I do not know ninja well but it appears to be the action is being slow to trigger.
It is click > delay > action
not click> action
2.0+ problem, we like it fixed on SB release, so people are being more outspoken, along with it being more noticeable with the higher ping.
Hell it even existed in 1.0 but... it was even bigger gaps then.
My PS4 version is working fine on my end
East coast, Florida, PS4. Works the same way it did before. SLoppeehh!!
jk it works great.
My PS4 pro here is working perfectly fine here in Georgia. The distance increase was a little undere 500 miles, and my ping increased by 8ms but its not a noticeable difference, and mudras work fine.
i play on ps4 on european data center chaos and this has been happening to me for about a week now despite me reseting my modem n checking with my isp. i can hardly tank or heal because it :(
Oh yeah, it should be mentioned that if you're going to be using wireless, at least use a 5 GHz channel. Stabler connection than 2.4, which means less chance of ping being any worse than it should be. As far as I know.
The North East and Eastern Canada get it the worst, as they're the farthest from Sacramento as possible. Wouldn't want to be someone from Houlton or Eastport, Maine, I can tell you that. Being in Boston jumped it enough (which is PRETTY FAR east), but there's further points than that.
<.< Not even my almost 4 years old PS3 is NEARLY Doing that!
Not to meantion: Never saw this framerate issue on PS4. And Im playing wireless! o_O
I play on PS4 Pro (and PS4 before that) and never ever have had that issue.
I am willing to think it is more isp connection issue then the hardware (PS4)
And why do people go wireless? Not judging just curious. Hardwired should always be used if possible
I can hardwire it at one house but not the other, due to just how far the router is and the fact that the owner of the house is not willing to drill through the floor to get the ethernet cable down and unwilling to move the router either. kinda stuck with wifi there.
ah nevermind that.
This is not correct. The only part PSN plays is brokering the initial connection to the game servers. This happens when the game launcher runs only.
Proof my answer: During the all PSN outages due to DDOS attacks last year, any FF14 player previously connected the game was able to keep playing without issue (I personally did this on the Christmas day 2015 attack). Any player attempting to connect to the game was blocked because PSN was not available.
PS4 wifi can only operate on 802.1 g protocol.
Can you adjust the router to not operate 802.1 a/b/g or g/n modes? If so, you will see a signal performance improvement (mostly reliability not speed) because the router will not be attempting to switch between the speeds as different devices use the WiFi.
Does the router support dual-band or tri-band transmission? If so, setup an SSID for g only, and another n only ensure the n band is transmitting on 5 GHz and g is on 2.4 GHz to prevent collision.
Additionally, most routers come setup to transmit on channel 6, if there are many other routers in range (e.g. neighbours), you should consider switching to channel 11 to reduce the interference.
I'm fairly sure that yes, your PS4's performance is negatively impacted when you drop it.
I believe Asus makes a high performance gaming router that has vpn support for the major networks. You should look into one of those.
Looks like a suiton happened directly after a raiton... Not sure how that happens...
