new player is this ok so far?

So I recently started playing and managed to get GLD12, THM12, and now working on CON to 12.

I am 11 with CON and killing level 8 and 9 Spring collectors in the Uldah first area. My question is, I am getting about 108-121 exp per kill at lv11. Was wondering if this is good exp pace? If not where can I go at this level and perhaps get better but safe exp? I tend to play solo since no one is around in my current map.

My advice, get some levequests for level 10 and set them to at either 1 or 2 stars. Each star represents +3 levels so if you are level 10, pick 1 star for level 10 enemies. At level 11 you can either still do 1 star or pick 2 stars for level 13 enemies. You want at level or higher mobs to get experience chains which will increase your XP. Good luck!

If you always aim for mobs 0-3 levels higher than you, watch your rate of EXP go way up. You should be making your way towards Camp Drybone at your level.

Go to the newbie dungeon, Shposhae. It's right outside of Limsa Lominsa. There is an optional sidequest somewhere that'll take you there. You might also try shouting in Uldah for a bit to get a party.

That's a good suggestion Rental. I've done it myself on low level classes when bored. My only caveat is that you should be prepared to wait a good while if you go this route attempting to form a party and then the party itself may not go as well as you had hoped. In any event, do not be discouraged. That low level dungeon is actually quite interesting in my opinion and worth a bit of a stumble through even with a less than ideal party. Hopefully someone in the party has a 50 hiding on his character who can clear a mess when required.

The dungeon has keys, coffers and even an NM all its own.

Hi Lynd. May wanna check near Camp Drybone to the east. I think there's some 13ish mobs on yhe road from Black Brush to Drybone as the valley opens up.

Leves are unfortunately slower xp at the low levels (they work, just not as fast as those mob spots you're finding).
