Everyone is getting Nier Automata costume, why not us?

Heya!

Just notice that some game are getting costumes from Nier Automata, like Phantasy Online 2 (in Japan) and now will be a free DLC for Gravity Rush 2.

Why we can't have those costumes? Why non SE game have and we don't?

Good question. I would like to see it too. There was already a similar thread going around but it didn't seem like people were interested.

We are still waiting for that PSO2 collab......maybe in 4.1?

Because it takes time to implement crossover stuff, not to mention the management side of things, and Yoshi P's team will be in crunch time working on Stormblood. Its not like they are in a position to casually throw out a couple of gear sets.

Didn't Yoshi-p say that it takes like a year to implement a collaboration event?

I rather have more FF costumes (Rosa, Rydia, Terra etc) then from this game...still waiting for that, if ever. We have a lot of the FF male costumes...the only female one we have is Lightning and Yuna. I want my Rydia outfit T_T

Yep. Half a year for designing items, NPCs, and enemies and the other half for designing the actual event (quests and battles). :B
The items and scenario are usually designed by the other party too... >3>()

It's pretty cringey. You should see the amount of glamours they have for the characters on Eorzea collection. Which btw OP you can easily replicate in the time being. Next to Tifa Lockhart cosplay, the amount of glamour they have for A2 and what not is ridiculous and repetitive.

I take it back, actually. 9S' outfit would look pretty good on an FFXIV character (though I would substitute the shorts for pants). Adam's outfit would look pretty good too.

Offtopic.. but those of you wanting the t-shirts, I'm assuming out of game? Couldn't you design your own on zazzle and it come out to be even cheaper than what SE would put out?

Because it is difficult to make a female outfit fit male characters, but not the other way round. On top of that, the only points they've given female-origin outfits, they've always released it with a male-only outfit, meanwhile the male outfits are made to fit both genders (except Snow and Tidus), so yeah, don't expect Rydia's unless they intend to give male characters an FF4 outfit for them.

i just made my own.

9S's is easy.

-Free company shirt dyed jet black
-your choice of any of the shorter pants dyed jet black (i went with Sailor Brais)
-your choice of any of the boots (i went with scion adventurer boots)
-As a healer i used the hallowed chestnut mask of healing dyed jet black
(and though it isn't necessary, i added eikon cloth gloves of healing dyed jet black because i think the free company shirt's arms are too thin)

2B's would be harder because we don't have any poofy skirts.

A2's is just tattered skin-tight clothing

FF13 Lightings Return event was around before the actuall game release! And that.. didnt took a year for them :U

We still havent got a FF15 event they promised back on Nov 2016 lol
I dont have hopes NieR Automata will get one :S even that game is 100x better than not even halve finished FF15

SE got sooooo many good games for possible crossovers and we dont get any! >_>

I want the 2B outfit, but my character lacks the butt to make the outfit shine. So I rather they add butts first, then bring those outfits.

PS: I see people mentioning A2 outfit, what outfit? I thought she was naked the whole time, since the black parts are not clothes, but her skin.

What I would really like is the blindfold. I know that there is a really similar mask in the game but its job locked right? Would be nice to have one simple blindfold without any job restrictions. This way one could role play as a blind character or just look cool. Also let it be dye-able so people who dont want to wear black all the time can change it how they like.

This and money. The other game companys and SE have to be willing to pay to have their item promoted in game. It's the same thing as an advertisement.

The black part is not her skin, while the short shorts may be confused with skin, the base of the shirt is a few cm away from her skin and moves a bit in the wind (granted the wind effect is everywhere even indoors) use Berserk mode and you'll see parts of her clothing burning off.

I'm actually quite fond of the dress. Also (imo) the art design does kind of match what we have in FFXIV realm. Except the missing butt, Yoshi-P had to sacrifice the butt to reboot 1.0. It's the law of equivalent exchange... If only Yoshi-P had a philosopher’s stone. :p

A wise man once said, "2B or not 2B, that is the question."

But currently our character are missing the B(utt), hence we probably aren't getting the dress anytime soon. :(
