We all know a plain rez is just boring. So we spice things up with fun phrases. What's yours?

"And from the ashes, ye shall be reborn!"
If I have to rev someone a bunch of times, "Don't worry, I got this.. again"
<t> you make my heart go doki doki!
Depending on how many rez
First rez; " O.o/ Damn you get up ! <t> we need you '
Second rez " Curse you lag why!!! get up <t> it's not over yet"
Third rez " -.-; <t> Go towards the light, I could be healing people who follow mechanics "
Fourth rez; ***Note there is no fourth rez*** player is ignored normally I /em moment of silence
It used to be "<t> pls, dying is lame."
But that came off as elitist and rude to some people. (it was meant to be like a "Psssh, get up." Attitude.)
So I changed it to. "Don't leave us <t>! FIGHT!"
I like this one because it's both positive and has a pumped tone to it :3c
My "raise" (what's a rez even?) contains no phrase other than my silent murmurs IRL about why someone shouldn't be dead.
My SCH rez is "I wasn't dpsing, I swear!" My SMN rez (which I stole from our static SMN) is "Get up, <t>! Death is no excuse to stop fighting!"
My AST rez is "The cards have dealt you another hand, <t>, make it count!"
And WHM is something generic about not giving up so get back on your feet, soldier. I want to change it but I'm uninspired.
/p mechanics 1 - <t> 0
/p mechanics 2 - <t> 0
Etc
Don't use em much these days gets tricky to keep tally in some parties
<se.7> Rezzing <<<<t>>>>
I honestly hate sentence length phrases or longer with Rez macros. When i'm healing with my partner I prefer it to be quick to see the name of the player being rezzed to avoid overlap. I don't like searching a wall of text to find the name, especially if there were multiple rezzes. It's even more distracting when I'm not healing and playing tank or dps and seeing walls of text going off since it breaks focus reading that stuff in the middle of my rotations......but that's just me. Prefer short and concise.
I don't have one yet. But for my last raid team in Rift it was "%t arise and Beep once more" (was a member of Beep Beep Ima Jeep).
In case no one noticed, <t> just died!"
Shut up <t>, I'm a DOCTOR.
Never felt comfortable using a res macro and I'm not entirely sure why, my swiftcast and raise keys are right next to each other though which likely explains part of it.
Mine is a Pokémon reference. Gets a few chuckles sometimes.
"Hyomin Park uses (Raise) on <t>! It's super effective! <se.5>
Before it was just "Hyomin Park uses (Raise) on <t>" but I wanted to give it some character and make it less bland.
my personal fave is
"GOOD NEWS! <t> I've learned how to bring you back from the dead...and it's a suppository!"
"Congratulations <t>, you're getting a promotion! Here, have a raise! ^_^"
WHM'd yesterday and my WHM macro is "there's no rest for the wicked, <t>!"
My static's WHM used to go with "If I knew I had to raise <t> I would have asked for child support"
Always had to grin at this.
As an AST: "We can rebuild <t>, we have the theology." {Ascend}
You owe me 2652 MP (raising <t>)
Existence is reasonable, let's make things better, <t>!
A true classic.
Most memorable one used on me was...
"Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my raise spell, so come back maybe"
I keep it simple
{raise/ascend/resurect} on <t> <se.2>!
*insert witty raise macro here*
also got this for my SMN:
resummoning <t> as a a {familiar}... <se.2>
Go forth my new adventurer Egi!
I've stopped using a macro text when raising for now the last couple of months as it became a little annoying for me, and made me unsure about how others felt about it, but for a long while I used for both AST and WHM:
'/emote wishes upon a star.' and '/p Star light, star bright, I wish for <t>' (or something like it), and for LB3 'Heroes never die <3'
I only use {raising} <t> macro. It's funny if people die once, but if alot of people die (in a 24 man raid for instance) and you have to many people, it gets annoying.
Silly, <t> the floor isn't the boss ♥
I opted for a Fire Emblem Awakening quote.
"Hey <t>, there are better places to take a nap than on the ground you know"
No offense intended, but I find the whole concept really lame. It's bad enough when 99% of the text is cringeworthy, another when you're in long content with repeatedly dying people so X Healer can get off on spamming their <snd> raise macro and flood the chat with uninteresting drivel. I remember back when I discovered the internet in my youth and thought things like that where cool. You know, overlong clan tags in CS1.6 coupled with derpy text-macros flooded with 1337 sp34k. Well y'know what? I'm an old fart, now. If you're going to raise me, do it quietly. No sense raising someone with distracting comments and out-of-place noises.
Just me, I'm sure. Bah humbug etc.
"Praise the Sun!"
Just because ... darksouls.
To avoid spam, I don't have any sayings macroed to my Raise spell. Instead, I keep them on an action bar along with my favorite emotes.
/em riffles through <t>'s pockets for change.
"Isn't this floor great?"
"<t>down in women's lingerie, aisle five."
"9.5, 9.6, 9.4, & an 8.0 from the Garlean judge." /cheer
<t> stand your ground, this is our story!
<t> there is no time to visit the farplane yet..
+>> <t> << WWW. R A I S E. C OM! 2652MP = 1 UP ++ Register now!!!! instant delivery!!! Have a nice day!!! <se.1>
This is one macro I do not mind spamming. Since we get spam with this all the time anyway
I have something like:
WHM "Im nice, so I'm bringing <t> back!"
AST "My guardian constellation, bring <t> back!"
SCH "Fairy, do something, bring <t> back!"
I really liked the Pokemon themed, though ^^
But I'm thinking about abandoning the phrase, cause in most of the time I have to press the button twice, cause the Rez doesn't work (maybe lag or something)...
I need a giant ascii macro of Piccolo yelling "DODGE!" for one...
Simple stuff, such as "Up you get, <t>!" or the one previously stated by Hyomin, the Pokemon one.
"Valhalla must wait, we need you here and now <t> !"
For the first rez it's always
GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY! I've learned how to bring people back from the dead...and it's a suppository.
After that it's just my non-talky rez.
pretty sure offtopic...but is there a way to prevent the macro from texting the phrase if the rezz didn't hit?
