Add Angel/Devil Costumes to Mog Station

With the recent addition of the angel and devil themed chocobo barding becoming available via the optional items service, can we also look forward to seeing the accompanying themed-costumes in the near future?

If I wanted wings I'd go play a F2P Korean MMO.

Please no.

They look like tacky items from a F2P Korean MMO.

That being said, take off the wings and they might be nice.

I'd pay to keep those off the mogstation.

I find it ironic that people say this when FFXIV has a cash shop as extensive as F2P games.

Also after that Yokai Watch event, nothing is too ridiculous, not even wings -.-

It's weird that we all collectively associate wings with korean F2P MMOs. It's a shame.

The coats themselves are nice. I would love a wingless version.

I do understand it's perhaps not pleasing on the eye for everyone, but i feel this to be a very subjective thing.
I'd still very much like the option to be available for those who do find it pleasing.

There are already many items of apparel within the game one could potentially label as hideous and/or tacky, but players are always afforded the opportunity to utilise them in their glamours.
It's a sad thing that I won't be able to glamour something because it goes against other people's tastes. :(

Those coats are pretty nice.

If I can have it without the wings, I'd love it. But we JUST got some other things we really wanted over here. I'm happy for that, and IF they'll bring these over, I can wait.

More seriously ;P ... Although i personally dont really like them, im always for more glamour, although Im one of those ️that prefer To have in game than on mogstation... But that is another whole topic ;)

I'd be completely fine with seeing them added to the game. The people who don't like them don't have to make use of them - and there's already at least one gear set in the game with wings built in. I don't particularly like the look of a lot of the very tacky swimsuits that some people use for glamour but that doesn't mean I want them to be removed.

I would like to have them.

HOWEVER, I also dont necessarily like the coat/wings.

BUT:

I am really into glams and I love mixing and matching stuff. Do you see the headpieces on both sets? One has horns...DYEABLE horns. Neither succubus nor ultima horns are dyeable.
The Angel one has this filigree tiara piece around the forehead. Which is lovely.
The boots are cool. And from what I remember from some pictures, even the gloves are quite cool.
Id like the sets just for these.


Plus, the people who dont wanna see wings everywhere: Give it 2 weeks and most ppl will have their glams changed to something else again, anyways.

I believe these two outfits will arrive eventually. I think when they released the China themed outfits, it was like this too, adding the minions first before anything else. Almost as if they are building anticipation..

I won't be getting these myself, but I would say wait a bit. They are probably on the way after a while.

I don't suppose we could get a version with the wings and one without? I really like the look of those coats, but if I had to have the wings at all times when using them for Transmog, I'd probably not bother buying them.

I would be interested in separate pieces, and perhaps a wingless version too. I wouldn't mind having both, to be honest.

I like the coat but without the wings. The wings look kind of cheesy.

I come up with a posible solution for those who hate the wings. Maybe we could have a "/wings" sort of option that can toggle the wings on and off dependent on whether you want them or not? I personally wouldn't mind having them on usually, but there may be times I want them off. Suddenly, /wings and the wings disappear. It's inspired by the "/visor" command we already have for certain head items.

There's plenty of outfits that's an eyesore to me. Particularly the mascot ones (on non-lalafels) just because they're immersion breaking to me.

But that's me and I've gotten over it so if people want to pay for this, let them. More money for the game.

I support this. More glamour for me, my close friends and for my retainers. <3

I don't know what it is about these robes/coats but looking at them, they do remind me of the current healer gear, as well as the ilvl 148 caster gear. Now I am not saying they are identical because clearly they are not, but there's a lot of similarities and that makes me sad again. Why can't we get something that is actual new and creative for once? Don't answer that because it's more of a rhetorical question lol. Keep the wings tho, not interested, and if you can't hide them at the end, dungeon runs will be a pain in the butt (visually) if tanks/healers and maybe on top of that dps glamouring that non sense.

Obviously, everyone has their own opinions.
Personally, I think the clothing designers in this game could learn a lot from the "Korean mmo" styles. The quality and detail in FF is great, but the design is, more often than not, terrible. I've yet to get class gear that didn't deserve to be glamoured over. In this instance, we already have wings on some gear, so it wouldn't be out of place any more than most of the event/crossover gear. It would be considerably less annoying than the yokai or moogle gear.

I wouldn't mind them if the wings were better modeled. FFXIV has some very nice more realistic/anatomically correct wing designs that, if utilized, would really improve the look of these gear sets. Right now, they're like clunky sails strapped to the models' backs. Improve the models for the wings and I imagine people would have fewer complaints about bringing these over. Maybe reduce the size/space taken up by the wings too? I wouldn't really be interested in glamouring on wings myself, but I'd be much less annoyed by others glamouring them on if they weren't big hulking shapes clogging up three characters' worth of space on my screen. A well-modeled set of folded wings would be a lot less "controversial," I think.

In any case, we've received so many of the originally region-locked pieces of gear lately that I can't help but imagine we'll be getting these soon enough, whatever people on the forums seem to think of them.

Eh I welcome it, let people have their fun in the game. I won't get it myself but more power to whoever would wear it. :D

I'll throw my hat into the "No, please no" camp.

I think everyone is only giving importance to the robes, without thinking that also they bring hat, gloves, pants and boots, that would serve to use and to mix with other things that we already have and thus to have more variety.

I don't like how its one wing only...where is the other one ^^

I just wish when it arrive, it (along with the couple new promotion/kupo store item) can be stored in the armorie...

Still find it boggling that so many people associate wings with Korean MMOs when they've been a staple motif of like a bajillion Final Fantasy protagonists and antagonists for quite some time now.
