Fastest way to farm light for anima?

So I'm getting very close to the light farm phase on my first (and sadly) only anima. What is the fastest way to farm the light?

I've read A1S is the best, but isn't there a weekly lockout for it or can I just reqeue for it over and over?

No, there is no weekly lockout on A1S
It's the fastest way of getting light, with each run giving a minimal of Robust light each run (higher if on bonus), and usually takes about 5-8 minutes from start to finish with competent DPS.

There is no weekly lockout for A1S. The lockouts would only apply to current raid tiers in the patch they're released. So older Savage content has no lockouts. And the lockouts only really applied to Pages/Chests, not how many times you could queue into the duty.

Some people have also argued that A9S is good too, if you have a group that is efficient and knows what they're doing. There's also no lockout on it either. And you have the potential to get some relevant gear, too. :3

You can do A1s till you are done. I had quite a bit of luck doing Void Ark in terms of light vs time taken (as in 1st raid in michi series)

First there is no lockout on A1S anymore, so you can farm it over and over now - infact there arent any lockouts anymore at all atm.

But to clarify what "lockout" means: it doesnt lock you out from doing that content, it just locks you from rolling on the loot or getting any once-a-week-drops (like the manifestos in Alexander or the coins in the 24man-raids).
So even when content has a lockout you can queue for it as often as you want, you just wont get anymore rewards from it.

By this point in the game you don't even need to watch mechanics, really. The amount of DPS an 8-man party can put out will usually end the instance in under 4 minutes, so you won't even get to see any of the major mechanics. Just go in there and DPS hard and you'll be fine.

For farming A9S, though, yeah, you'll probably need to watch some guides.

Thing about A1S is queues might not be as fast anymore. When light farming first came out, queues were pretty quick. Now I'm doing it again and it was like 15-20 minutes queue for A1S.

our Datacenter pretty much always has a1s light farming parties in PF.........if theres none, make one,it will most likely fill up.

2 min 40 sec about for the fight, maybe 3-4 mins if you include re-queuing, entering, etc.

No, it's like Nexus and Zodiac lights. weapon must be equipped at duty end.

A1S average 3-4 min a run including re-queues when I did my War axe. PF is the way to go, and just wait til bonus windows for fastest results.

I've been in groups with multiple healers/tanks and we almost always did it under 5 minutes, unless a wipe from too much DPS on the boss and the second having more than 11%. One minute for faust, and a couple on the twinbosses

Maybe less time if people actually bothered to turn off 'previously viewed cutscenes'

I'm not sure if this is a thing of japanese servers, but A10S has been the way to go for me, is a quick fight, there I've hardly ever got a wiping group there and the reward is hardened by default

You need to have the weapon equipped, otherwise no light. Also, it will be the quickest with a PF group. At least on my server, they are going all the time. Sometimes you get some bonus light, this is random and the bonus sticks for a couple of hours. So keep an eye out on the tracker to spam it when it gives more. I am on that stage too, but don't have nearly enough time to properly grind it. My boyfriend did it in a day. Good luck! : 3
