[Suggestion] Frontline additional enemies for points

I figured this would be a good idea, not all but with some of the PVP Frontlines have it to were some enemies spawn on the field, like Allagan security drones, and other magiteck monstrosities, that were triggered at certain times and players would have to hunt it down and destroy it. This could also drop items to teams that defeat it that can be traded within the Wolves Den at an NPC for gear, PVP materia, etc.

no tanks, i want a pvp where we pvp.
where is a good idea to involve pve to pvp ?

Hmm.

If you're thinking of something like Dota, where the enemy "creeps" spawn every 30 seconds and players need to push the waves of NPC "creeps" in order to reach the enemy base, then you might be on to something. It's already implemented in games like Guild Wars 2 and it's proven to be quite fun.

Secure - the original Frontlines mode - had a similar thing before. Besides, when you want additional points, that's what enemy players are for.

If they are going to keep adding PVE objectives, they're going to have to unlock Cleric Stance again because those Shatter matches where everyone ignores one another to focus exclusively on ice are already super-boring.

I'd rather PVP incorporates more actual PVP, not open world mob hunting within an instance.

I didn't say include it in ALL PVP models, keep the ones we have to stay true to PVP, but implement within some new modes just for a little extra challenge.

I'm honestly kind of surprised they haven't added something similar to Alterac Valley from warcraft and I think it would kinda fit what OP wants.

this is pvp not diadem

I believe the extra challenge in frontlines would be making those premadez vs premades vs premades

Which version of AV, though? The original where a single ongoing battle could last entire weekends? :D

I only played WoW late vanilla/early BC right before AV got the horrible bot epidemic but I still have some fond memories of it lol.

Please stop asking for more PVE in PVP
