Well it was announced before and will arrive after April fools day. Probably not a joke.

Im having a bit of difficulty grasping the idea of this mount... So you ride an easter egg and randomly chicks come out of it?! Dont get me wrong Im not complaining, actually very happy we are getting a mount from an event... Just not "getting it" atm. i guess i will see soon enough :)

It looks pretty funny, cant wait to get it! I'm happy with anything new and shiny :3

Wait so is it an interactive mount like the magiteks or does it always look like that?

I want to say it is like the others. Where you have an ability on your bar and it does something, similar to the magitech and the beast tribe mounts.

Also neat mount :P, I imagine its an ability that does the cute chocobo thing. So many people are going to get booped by it haha

Well the model is clearly based on the ADS mount, and I think that has a special action, so it's reasonable to expect this one to have a special action too.

And people say they don't put unique mounts in events anymore cuz cash-shop.

Well, the event mounts of today are the cash shop mounts of next year.

Not my favorite mount actually, I'd wish it was dyable so that everyone could personalize their own flying egg and also that it doesn't spin crazily like the turtle!... :(

Mm, but they have a vested interest in making our event stuff better if they can sell it later on to everyone who missed the event (which will probably be quite a large number of people in the dip before SB hits). Zojha is right; in a perverse way, the cash shop has helped us out this time. It encourages them to put more effort into event rewards instead of just decorating a special coatee.

I'm just happy I'm able to get the item in-game. Not a huge fan of egg-themed things so I wouldn't want to buy it, but riding around on one I can earn myself? Heck yes.

Well yes, if you happen to have a sub now. If you decided to take a break in the big content lull to Stormblood, or happen to join the game later, then you'd have to buy it (or, buy a subscription for April - that's 12 bucks either way). Likewise, if you happen to create an alt later because lolnothingisaccountbound. SE wins no matter what.

It's not as profitable as cash shop exclusive items of course, but far better than putting the effort into permanent game additions (which don't generate any extra cash). I'm actually surprised they aren't adding more items with the events.

Can't say I would honestly ride this mount over most of the other mounts, but it is definitely nice to get a decent seasonal reward that isn't egg helmets and rings this time.

Why the hell doesn't it play Pa Paya? The Witch's Broom played the All Saint's Wake music, but they couldn't be bothered to do it for this one? I have to ask for that to be changed.

they changed the magitek armors music to tera's theme surely if we complain enough they'll do the same for this mount too

Seriously though, the thing looks like something that would trigger lots of frantic 911
calls from people reporting u.f.o. sightings: "That's right officer! It looked like a big 'ol
glowin' egg floatin' in the sky! An' then it opened up an' somethin' horrible came out!"

I like the mount and I'm just glad that my character got the egg riding stance I wanted.

Yet another mount that will collect dust for me. I really dislike how ridiculous male miqo'te look on it. :|

Can I see a screenshot of the Highlander female on this one, please? Since poses are race and gender specific. Been considering using a fantasia and I haven't seen any Highlander ladies with this mount yet.
