RIP no Dunscaith weekly limit or about if we are getting Shire Gobdip drops T_T.

I guess it'll be 3.56b maybe.

(Also no FF Type-0 leftover hairstyles either, RIP)

They mention new items but they will list them at a later date. I would have thought upgrades for shire weapons would be part of this.

No Dun Scaith unlock. :/

Oh cool they added a buy for the Zurvan bird! I'm just 30 totems off I think, I could crank the rest out in a day or two no prob. : o

I saw on reddit, someone dug up that the Sice hair is there and it's called the Rainmaker, along side Aymeric's hair and some reduxing of the POTD hair. Apparently cause it's called rainmaker, that means it is tied to some event that has happened before?

I've heard that Master & Commander as well as Rainmaker being added, but we know Samsonian is added via POTD.

Rem and Machina's hairstyles should be added too at least since Rem's hairstyle is all I cared about honestly xD

A bit miffed that the devs haven't addressed issues with the new Diadem to curb the AFK parties/people leaving as soon as the initial mission is done. One would think that'd be an obvious priority. I've pretty much stopped doing it entirely because it's not worth queuing in there for 3+ hours a day, not seeing a single EM pop that day while you can't get anything else done because half the party insists on sitting on their arses.

Beyond that, bring on the story! I wonder if there will be a surprise trial waiting for us...

I dont know, but I guess they haven't put these in details... are they going to give free trial by level limits instead of days now? Like the whole 3.56 note seems very vague if they are adding important details later date lol. Why bother posting a patch note when they are not fully ready to explain? :'/

How so? People using the free trial will still not be able to take any classes past level 35, can't use pf or trade with others, no access to the market board and a number of chat modes, and can't join FCs. There are other limitations as well. I guess the only thing is that someone can play completely free while getting all of their classes to 35, which still isn't saying much and locks them out of plenty of content. I believe the gil cap for the free trial is something low like 20k, so even if they upgrade they won't break the game or economy.

For example someone can make 20 free trial accounts and play every TT tournament against himself in off-hours. Free trials have full access to Gold Saucer content.

Can they used the triple triad battlehall? They changed the way tournaments worked a few patches ago.

Apart from MSQ, the tome limit to 900 is probably the most interesting addition. I might have a go at the unlocked alex savage. The rainmaker hairdo looks nice, hopefully it will make an appearance. I assume the items, etc are being held off until a craft/gather update on Thursday?
No idea what that might entail. changes in scrip costs? increase to 900 red as well? If they do it for tomes, makes sense for craft/gather as well.

Do people still do the triple triad tourneys any more i gave up on them ages ago.

Removing the free trial time limit is a smart move even if 14 days is a lot. For any game that had ever offered a free trial, ask yourself. Did you pace the time you played or did you play it as much as possible to get everything done in that time frame? Odds are it's the latter so giving players the opportunity to pace themselves does offer a better incentive for them to keep playing since they can enjoy the game at their own pace without feeling rushed by the limitation of the free trial time limit.

It also generally offers players more time to get acquainted with and invested in their character and the game, which will likely lead to a higher rate of "successful" trials.

That main story has me excited! Final trial? Final dungeon? Final raid? I really hope that we get something suitably epic for whatever the final battle of the expansion is! Here's hoping it will be a true culmination of everything that's happened so far! :D

They don't care. Yoshi even made a joke about how people need to calm down with their "knee jerk reactions".
Long as people populate their content, they don't care if it's actually fun at all. Only reason Diadem was reworked was because literally 0 people ran it.

So they remove the weekly loot lockout on Alex Creator Savage (which has 270 gear) but they won't remove the weekly lockout on Dun Scaith loot... Additionally, they double the scrip tome weekly limit.

Are... they seriously going to make us wait until mid-April or something?

I suppose I should have known better.

I'm fine with the loot lockout on DS... XD Means I have a chance of getting tank stuff without tanking it on my alts haha.

Make it rain ... Another pain in the ass investigation...

I have to agree with this, I often fantasia between male and female characters so the bundle is alright for me (although costly) but for those who are ONLY ever going to be female, or males who only want the hair it shoulda been sold separately....weren't Snow/Lightning hair added separately to their outfits???

But WTF SE... nerf MCH and WHM in PvP? What the hell?
Why not nerfing AST or SCH? Or WAR? Why was it so neccessary to nerf Sacred Prism (WHM) and Between the Eyes (MCH)? Sure, both skills were strong, but they have a very long cooldown. But in fact, Between the Eyes is the ONLY non-support-pvp-skill for MCH.

But hey, lets just buff the annoying NIN and DRK! : (

Looking forward to Tataru's outfit. Very fancy.
