But I always feel bad killing the does and cute little fluffy creatures :"(. Did square say anything about redoing the monsters in the game?? I want to kill beasts and evil creatures, not cute little animals. If anything they should have the animals help you, like heal you or whatnot. Or atleast just be there for the scenery or something..

it seems to me the original direction for the monsters that were implemented being cute average every day animals was to simulate a realistic crafting society.

Things that you can do to decrease that faction and have a Giant Snurble get medieval on your tush:- Attack a Snurble
- Wear Snurble made goods in its general vicinity
- Asking it to get in your tummy
